Die Pipettiervorlagen 5 werden dabei spezifisch für die benutzten Mikrotiterplatte 4 hergestellt und in die Unterseite der Mikrotiterplatte 4 gelegt, bevor diese auf die Aufnahme 3 des Pipettierständers aufgebracht wird. Gleichwirkend ist dem Fachmann ohne erfinderisches Zutun, insbesondere bei ständiger Benutzung nur einer Rasterung der Mikrotiterplatte 4, die feste Anbringung der Pipettiervorlagen 5 auf der Aufnahme 3 dabei gleichzeitig eine Arretierung der Mikrotiterplatte 4 bildend.
