Claims (5)

1. Spannband für Behälter dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Spannband aus kontinuierlich faserverstärktem Thermoplast, mit einem Faservolumen­ gehalt größer 20%, einem Anteil von über 25% an Fasern mit einer Länge über 50 mm, einem Imprägnierungsgrad der Fasern von über 50% besteht und das Spannband eine Breite zwischen 5 und 200 mm und eine Banddi­ cke von 0,3 bis 5 mm aufweist und Bereiche des Spannbandes überlappend miteinander Verbunden sind.

Spannband für Behälter nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Matrixwerkstoff des Spannbandes aus einem thermoplastischem Kunststoff besteht, vorzugsweise - jedoch nicht ausschließlich - aus Poly­ ethylen (PE), Polypropylen (PP), Polyamid (PA), Polyketon (PK), Polyvinyl­ chlorid (PVC), Poly-4-methylpenten-1 (PMP), Polyacetal (Polyoxymethylen) (POM), Polymethylmethacrylat (PMMA), Polystyrol (PS), Styrol/Acrylnitril- Copolymer (SAN), Polycarbonat (PC) und/oder Acrynitrilbutadienstyrol (ABS).
3. Spannband für Behälter nach Anspruch 1-2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Faserwerkstoff des Spannbandes vorzugsweise - jedoch nicht ausschließlich - aus Glas-, Kohlenstoff-, Aramid-, Metall- und/oder Kunst­ stofffasern besteht.
4. Spannband für Behälter nach Anspruch 1-3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die der Behälter zugewandten Seite des Spannbandes mit einer weichen Oberfläche beschichtet ist.
5. Spannband für Behälter nach Anspruch 1-3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Spannband untereinander verbunden ist.
