Claims (9)

1. Flachbauende Beleuchtungseinrichtung mit flächiger Lichtabstrah­ lung für ein Kraftfahrzeug, insbesondere zur Innenraumbeleuch­ tung, umfassend einen flachen plattenförmigen Lichtleitkörper (7; 15, 16; 21) und eine dergestalt angeordnete Lichtquelle (9), dass deren emittierte Lichtstrahlen stirnseitig in den Lichtleitkörper (7; 15, 16; 21) eingekoppelt werden, wobei in eine Flachseite des Lichtleitkörpers (7; 15, 16; 21) lichtauskoppelnde Strukturen einge­ bracht sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die lichtauskoppeln­ den Strukturen durch Reflexionsflächen (R) bildende Vertiefungen (V) geringer Tiefe realisiert sind, die an der der lichtabstrahlenden Oberfläche gegenüberliegenden Oberfläche des Lichtleitkörpers (7; 15, 16; 21) vorhanden und parallel und mit Abstand zueinander in dem zur Lichtabgabe vorgesehenen Bereich des Lichtleitkörpers angeordnet sind, und dass der durch die Vertiefungen (V) struktu­ rierte Bereich feuchtigkeitsdicht verkapselt ist.
2. Beleuchtungseinrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekenn­ zeichnet, dass die Tiefe der Vertiefungen (V) mit ihrem Abstand zur lichteinkoppelnden Stirnseite (8) des Lichtleitkörpers (7) zu­ nimmt.

Beleuchtungseinrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch ge­ kennzeichnet, dass der Lichtleitkörper (7) aus Kunststoff besteht und zur feuchtigkeitsundurchlässigen Verkapselung der durch die Vertiefungen (V) strukturierten Oberfläche (10) zwischen zwei, ab­ gedichtet miteinander verbundenen und einen Hohlraum (5) ein­ schließenden Glasscheiben (2, 3) angeordnet ist.
4. Beleuchtungseinrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekenn­ zeichnet, dass die beiden Glasscheiben (2, 3) die Außenscheibe und die Innenscheibe einer Isolierverglasung sind.

Beleuchtungseinrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch ge­ kennzeichnet, dass der Lichtleitkörper einen Teilbereich einer In­ nenscheibe (16) und/oder einer Außenscheibe (15) einer zwei einen Hohlraum einschließenden und abgedichtet miteinander ver­ bundenen Glasscheiben umfassenden Isolierverglasung ist.

Beleuchtungseinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, da­ durch gekennzeichnet, dass die Lichtquelle außerhalb des durch die Verkapselung gebildeten Hohlraums angeordnet und ein Licht­ leiter (18, 19) zum Leiten der von der Lichtquelle emittierten Licht­ strahlen zum Beleuchten der stirnseitigen Einkoppelfläche des Lichtleitkörpers (15, 16) vorgesehen ist.
7. Beleuchtungseinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, da­ durch gekennzeichnet, dass parallel zur flächigen Erstreckung des Lichtleitkörpers (7) ein oder mehrere folienartige, ein Licht­ durchtritt beeinflussende Elemente (6, 12) angeordnet sind.
8. Beleuchtungseinrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekenn­ zeichnet, dass ein solcher folienartiger, einen Lichtdurchtritt beein­ flussendes Element eine elektrochrome Schicht (12) ist.
9. Beleuchtungseinrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekenn­ zeichnet, dass ein solches folienartiges, einen Lichtdurchtritt be­ einflussendes Element eine IR-reflektierende Folie (6) ist.
