Claims (3)

1. Vorrichtung zur externen Fixierung von gebrochenen Kno­ chen, insbesondere Knochen der Extremitäten, wobei die Vor­ richtung einen außerhalb des Körpers längs eines gebrochenen Knochens anordbaren Vielgelenkstab mit in ihrer Richtung rela­ tiv zueinander verstellbaren und in den eingestellten Richtun­ gen fixierbaren Gliedern (1) aufweist, und wobei ein Teil der Glieder (1) einen in ihnen drehbar gehalterten Knochennagel (7) zur Verankerung im Knochen aufweist, dadurch gekennzeich­ net, daß mindestens einer der Knochennägel (7) an der Spitze als Schraube mit selbstschneidendem Gewinde (8) ausgebildet ist.

Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Knochennagel (7) an seinem Schaft über ein selbsthem­ mendes Gewinde (10) im zugehörigen Glied (1) schraubbar ge­ führt ist, wobei die Ganghöhe des Gewindes an der Spitze des Knochennagels und die des selbsthemmenden Gewindes in etwa gleich sind.

Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zur Führung des Knochennagelschafts im Glied (1) eine im Glied drehbar, aber in Richtung ihrer Achse unverschieblich gehalterte von Hand erfaßbare Rändelmutter (9) vorgesehen ist, in welcher das selbsthemmende Gewinde (10) des Knochennagels (7) im Eingriff ist.
