Description

The present invention relates to an inner collar for storing goods, in particular rod-shaped goods such as cigarettes, tobacco sticks and the like, comprising a front wall, side walls which are connected to the front wall via bending lines, and at least one access and viewing recess in the area of the front wall. The invention also relates to a packaging for storing goods, in particular rod-shaped goods such as cigarettes, tobacco sticks and the like.

Such inner collars and packaging are known in a large number. In particular, these packagings are hinged boxes, which are a widespread form of packaging for cigarettes and the like. That's how they describe DE 694 18 258 T2 and the DE 101 06 549 A1 such packaging in the form of a prismatic body along its longitudinal axis, a lid being articulated to a container-like receiving area. These packagings usually have a so-called collar or inner collar (“inner frame”), which is designed as a separate element and is introduced into the receiving area of the packaging. The collar partially protrudes from that of the packaging and has an engagement and viewing recess formed at the edge on a collar front side which is partially aligned with a front side of the receiving area.

A disadvantage of these known inner collars and packagings, however, is that in such known inner collars and the corresponding packagings there are only inadequate locking devices. This often makes it possible to open the packaging without any effort. This is particularly problematic when children try to open such packagings for cigarettes.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an inner collar of the generic type and a packaging which ensures improved locking security.

An inner collar with the features of protection claim 1 and a package with the features of protection claim 13 serve to solve these problems. Advantageous embodiments of the inner collar according to the invention and the packaging according to the invention are described in the respective subclaims. Advantageous configurations of the inner collar are to be regarded as advantageous configurations of the packaging and vice versa.

A first aspect of the invention relates to an inner collar for packaging for storing goods, in particular rod-shaped goods such as cigarettes, tobacco sticks and the like, comprising a front wall, side walls that are connected to the front wall via bending lines and at least one access and viewing recess in the area the front wall. The front wall comprises at least one latching tab for latching with a lid construction of the packaging and when the packaging is closed.

The inventive design of the inner collar with the additional locking tab on the front wall results in an inner collar which ensures improved locking security. In further advantageous refinements of the inner collar according to the invention, the locking tab is formed by means of cutting and bending lines formed in the front wall. This enables simple and inexpensive production of the locking tab, since it is formed in one piece with the front wall. But there is also the possibility that at least one wall element is articulated on the front wall in an area outside the engagement and viewing recess. The latching tab can be formed by means of a cutting line extending from a bending line connecting the wall element and the front wall. This design option for the latching tab also enables it to be produced simply and inexpensively.
