Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to a rail-like mounting device for a handrail, as mounted in front of a window as a French balcony, the fastening device comprises two holding profiles for attachment to a window frame and two attachable front profiles, which together form an A-shaped cross-section and in pairs and face each other to receive the railing disc at the side edges.

Railing panels, which are used as surface element made of glass, perforated metal sheet or steel mesh for French balconies, are known. French balconies are by definition railings that are attached to the outside of a mostly floor-level window or door opening. They have no usable space on a regular basis and at best protrude slightly beyond the facade. As fall protection they are subject to strict safety requirements according to the relevant building regulations.

Attached is a French balcony either side of the masonry or on the frame of the window opening or door opening. The support structures are mainly made of stainless steel or aluminum. As a surface element is often a break-resistant safety glass (laminated safety glass, laminated safety glass) used.

As far as such French balconies are mounted on the window frame according to the prior art, basically two solutions are common. Either the rail for receiving the railing disc from a holding profiles and a clamping profile is formed, or it is a U-shaped rail mounted directly on the window frame or masonry. For mounting a profile rail consisting of holding profile and clamping profile, the retaining profile is first screwed. Then the guardrail is put on. Depending on the design, the railing disc is fitted with a profile comprising the edges, which is then connected to the retaining profile, or on the pre-assembled retaining profile, the railing disc is placed and secured by means of a designated clamping profile by screwing, the rail formed from the holding profile and the clamping profile becomes. When using a U-shaped profile, the railing is introduced after attachment of the rail on the window frame in the U-shaped profile. The constructions also provide for the railing disc to be encompassed and held in its intended disposition in the rail of rubber seals

In a construction of the attachment according to the prior art is disadvantageous that either the clamping profiles or the U-shaped rails on the case side holes and screws reveal what disturbs the overall impression. In versions according to the prior art therefore covers are attached to the rails to cover the case side visible screws of the profile rails. As a result, a further profile element is required, namely a profile cover.

The publication DE 10 2015 113 453 A1 discloses a kit for a French balcony, which takes into account the depth of the receiving rail, the distance of the attached profile discs and the width of the handrail, the width of the distance plus the depth of a profile disc is to comply with the installation of the handrail, so that the handrail first in the slot of a rail is pushed to align the railing disc then in the direction of the opposite opening of the rail. This is advantageous insofar as a profile rail does not have to be supplemented by an element clamping the railing disk. The disadvantage, however, is that for the exposed attachment of the rail on the window frame case side screws are visible, which are hidden only by an additional cover. In addition, the construction loses stability when the rubber seals to align the introduced railing disc omitted.

It is also disadvantageous for the teaching of a clamping profile disclosed therein that the profiled rail is attached by means of a screw connection to the holding profile, which are visible on the case side and further profiled parts are required for their covering.

With the publication DE 10 2013 000 322 A1 a solution for a screwless attachment of a glass retaining element is disclosed. However, the disclosed teaching is not transferable to the rail for mounting a railing for a French balcony, as it is intended for use as a frame member of a window frame. In particular, the structural specifications required for a French balcony are disregarded.

The present invention is therefore based on the technical object to provide an improved retaining profile for a railing available that can be relatively simple construction without screws, especially with a lower installation cost, and leads to structurally acceptable results.

The present invention is therefore based on the problem of providing the simplest possible profile holder for a balcony window, which is attached to a window frame.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by two-part profiled rails ( 1 ) according to claim 1, which consists of a holding profile ( 2 ) and a front profile ( 3 ) are formed, the respective inner leg ( 6 ) with peripheral devices to a compound of the profile parts ( 2 / 3 ). Instead of a screw connection, the retaining profile ( 2 ) with the front profile ( 3 ) positively to the rail ( 1 ) connected. For an advantageous embodiment, for example, on the inside of the holding profile ( 2 ) as well as on the front profile ( 3 ) longitudinally extending folds ( 4 ), ie their outer edges are folded over and forms longitudinal grooves, so that the end of a longitudinal groove can be inserted into the associated oppositely disposed longitudinal groove. The front profiles ( 3 ) have an F-shaped cross section, which extends from the expressed sides of the front profile ( 3 ), which are perpendicular to each other, and the inner leg ( 6 ). The front profile ( 3 ) comprises the retaining profile ( 2 ) in width and depth.

An advantage of the positive connection of the profile rails ( 1 ) is that the holding profile ( 2 ) with the front profile ( 3 ) no longer needs to be screwed, so no holes and screw heads for the aesthetic-like realization of both sides arranged profile rails ( 1 ) are to be covered for fixing the window balcony. Thus, on the one hand the effort for screwing the front profiles ( 3 ) dispensable and on the other hand can be dispensed with a cover. In the solution according to the invention is also advantageous that the comprehensive front profiles ( 3 ) can be optionally colored, wherein the retaining profile ( 2 ) does not have to be adjusted in color because it has no visible outward surfaces.

In a preferred embodiment, the holding profiles according to the invention ( 2 ) on the façade side of a window frame ( 5 ) screwed vertically at the same height. The holding profiles ( 2 ) have a T-shaped cross-section. At about the middle of the window frame ( 5 ) face they have a leg ( 6 ), which along over almost the entire length of the holding profile ( 2 ) runs. The thigh ( 6 ) protrudes and forms in the assembled state of the holding profile ( 2 ) with the front profile ( 3 ) a profile inner wall ( 7 ), on which a sealing material ( 8th ), which is a thermally induced expansion of the guardrail ( 9 ) fields. At the same time, the legs joined according to the invention ( 6 ) as a profile inner wall ( 7 ), the inserted handrail ( 10 ) to protect against slipping in the horizontal direction.
