Description

The invention relates to transport and / or storage means which are manually movable, stackable for storage purposes, are collapsible when not in use and need no trucks during transport in the plane.

There are various forms of pallets made of wood, plastic or metal known. Such kind of pallets, of which the so-called Europallette is the best-known representative, need forklift trucks when they have to be moved loaded with a storage product. In the simplest case, this can be a so-called pallet truck.

Also known are transport and storage containers. For example, this may be a europallet with a slip-on frame. In most cases, however, containers of different dimensions are used as finished product. These require for their handling of the support by trucks, at least one pallet truck.

Especially from in-house transport solutions rolling frames are known, which are either rectangular or triangular in shape, which have arranged at each corner a swivel forged or a fixed castor and on which various types of containers or goods can be stored.

The known from the prior art transport and storage pallets or similar containers require significant logistical expenses. This is why logistics companies, in-house logistics and in ports have developed very specific solutions for the combinations between the pallets or containers and the material handling equipment used.

However, such types of systems find their limits when goods must be delivered using the appropriate transport or storage pallets or appropriate containers in a place where no appropriate trucks are available. If such a delivery by truck, it first requires a tail lift and a fork lift truck, the truck must constantly carry.

It is known that the pallet truck is a significant disruptive factor while driving to the destination. It must be secured after each use against unwanted movement. Failure to do so may result in movement of the truck during loading, damaging or destroying the transported goods or transport and storage pallets or containers. In addition, the pallet truck binds the cargo space required for goods transport.

This problem has been solved by on-vehicle forklift trucks. For example, the forklifts that are always carried on the vehicle make it possible to move even larger loads for which a pallet truck is no longer suitable.

However, this solution also has significant disadvantages. For example, due to approval regulations, the external dimensions of the trucks have to be adjusted taking into account the forklift truck. The additional arrangement of fasteners for the truck is also detrimental and worsens the operational characteristics and cost of such vehicles.

From the above-mentioned disadvantages, there is a need for manually movable transport and storage means in the form of pallets or containers. In any case, with specific light storage goods, it is staff zuzumuten, these also move manually.
