Claims (9)

1. Vorformling (1) aus thermoplastischem Material, insbesondere aus Polyethylen- Terephthalat, zur Herstellung von Flaschen mit großem Fassungsvermögen von mindestens ungefähr 5 Litern durch Blasformen oder Streckblasformen, wobei der Vorformling eine im Wesentlichen rotations- oder kreiszylindrische Form aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Vorformling (1), einschließlich sei­ nes bereits geformten und endgültig dimensionierten Halses (4) einen Außen­ durchmesser (∅) von mindestens 48 mm aufweist.
2. Vorformling nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er einen Außen­ durchmesser (∅) zwischen 48 und 60 mm aufweist.
3. Vorformling nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er einen Außendurchmesser (∅) von ungefähr 50 mm aufweist.
4. Vorformling nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeich­ net, dass der Hals (4) eine äußere ringförmige Nut (5) umfasst, mit der der Ver­ schluss der Flasche verrastet und so am Hals befestigt werden kann.
5. Flasche (8) mit großem Fassungsvermögen von mindestens 5 Litern aus thermoplastischem Material, insbesondere aus Polyethylen-Terephthalat, da­ durch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ausgehend von einem Vorformling (1) nach ei­ nem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4 hergestellt ist und einen Hals (4) mit einem Außen­ durchmesser (∅) von mindestens ungefähr 48 mm aufweist.
6. Flasche nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Hals (4) einen Au­ ßendurchmesser (∅) zwischen ungefähr 48 und 60 mm besitzt.
7. Flasche nach Anspruch 5 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Hals (4) ei­ nen Außendurchmesser (∅) von ungefähr 50 mm besitzt.
8. Flasche nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ihr Hals (4) in der Mitte und im Wesentlichen koaxial (Achse X) zum Körper (9) angeordnet ist,
der Körper (9) in seinem oberen Abschnitt unter dem Hals (4) zumindest teilweise einen im Wesentlichen ebenen und geneigten Bereich aufweist, der eine Auflagefläche festlegt, deren Ausdehnung und Neigung gegen­ über der Achse (X) des Halses dergestalt sind, dass die Flasche (8), wenn sie mit ihrer Auflagefläche (11) auf einen in etwa horizontalen Träger (12) gelegt wird, eine stabile Position einnimmt und der Hals (4) dann ihren niedrigsten Teil darstellt, und
der Hals (4) mit einer selektiv bedienbaren Verschlussvorrichtung (13) versehen ist, um die Flüssigkeit allein durch die Schwerkraft ausfließen zu lassen.
9. Flasche nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Hals (4) eine äuße­ re ringförmige Nut (5) aufweist und dass die Verschlussvorrichtung (13) mit Kraft mit dieser Nut (5) verrastet wird.
