Therefore, the idea was to develop a mop holder that has the shape of an iron (2) on one or both sides of the wiping surface, i.e. tapered.

This allows the user to reach the smallest angle with the tip (2).

It was also observed that the long telescopic handles (4) of the mop kept falling over due to the joint (5). Housewives or cleaning crews bend down to pick up the handle more often than intended.

The new tip-over stop (3) also eliminates this problem.

A 10-20 cm long rubber tube that completely encloses the handle provides relief.

This rubber or plastic tube is attached to the handle at an adjustable height and can therefore be adapted to any table or cupboard height.

This tip-over stop makes bending unnecessary. The same problem arises when a telescopic or other pole is placed against a smooth wall or window surface.

A cap (6), with or without knobs, on the upper end of the handle prevents slipping or falling over when the handle is tilted.

In this cap (6) there is a circular hole (7) through which the handle can be hung neatly. This slip-off cap (6) should have the round shape of a ball or the square shape of a cube and can be fitted with or without fine knobs.

On stairs that lead to the upper floor or the basement, there are railing supports in the middle of the step. Every housewife has to clean these places by hand, as no standard mops fit into this gap. Table or shelf legs are too close to the wall, so it is impossible to clean these places with a normal mop.

Therefore, a new type of cover (mop) for normal scrubbers is intended to provide a solution.

This cover is made of commercially available materials (fleece, microfiber, cotton, etc.) and is attached to the scrubber using two Velcro straps.

This means that these narrow areas can be cleaned easily and without bending down.

1. Claim 1 , characterized in that the square or rectangular shape of the mop holder ( 1 ) has one or more sides ( 2 ) that are more or less tapered. 2. Claim 2, characterized in that the tip-over stop ( 3 ) completely encloses the handle at a total height of approx. 10-20 cm and nevertheless remains adjustable in height. Also for retrofitting purposes. Material: rubber or plastic. 3. Claim 3, characterized in that the anti-slip cap ( 6 ) can be retrofitted to the upper end of the handle or is supplied ready-made. The outer skin has slightly pronounced knobs and a circular hole in the middle. Rubber or plastic. 4. Claim 4, characterized in that the underside of the mop holder is provided with protruding knobs ( 11 ) to ensure better adhesion of the mop to the mop holder. 5. Claim 5 is characterized in that the novel, reduced-size mop fits on any commercially available scrubber and is held in its function by two Velcro straps ( 12 ).
