In Fig. 1 ist ein Scheinwerfer oder eine Leuchte 1 (nachfolgend nur noch Scheinwerfer genannt) angeordnet zwischen den Karosserieteilen 4 und 6 zu erkennen. Der Scheinwerfer 1 weist ein Gehäuse 2, eine Abschlußscheibe 3 und Lichtquellen 7 auf. Die Lichtquellen 7 sind in Reflektoren 9 angeordnet, die wiederum an dem Gehäuse 2 befestigt sind. Die Reflektoren 9 reflektieren das von den Lichtquellen 7 ausgesendete Licht durch die Lichtaustrittsöffnung 8 zur Fahrzeugaußenseite 20 hin. Die Lichtaustrittsöffnung 8 wird von der Abschlußscheibe 3 zur Fahrzeugaußenseite 20 hin abgeschlossen. Der Scheinwerfer 1 weist eine Abschlußscheibe 3 auf, die fahrzeugaußenseitig das Gehäuse 2 abdeckt. Die Abschlußscheibe 3 erstreckt sich in den Spalt 11 und umgreift umfangseitig das Gehäuse 2. In die Abschlußscheibe 3 ragt der Kragen 15 des Gehäuses 2 hinein, der in bevorzugter Ausführung eine reflektierte Oberfläche 10 aufweist. Für einen Betrachter von der Fahrzeugaußenseite 20 her wird die Klebefläche zwischen der Abschlußscheibe und dem Gehäuse durch den Kragen 15 verdeckt. Der Spalt 11 kann soweit minimiert werden, daß die Klebefläche zwischen der Abschlußscheibe 3 und dem Gehäuse 2 in dem Schatten des Spaltes 11 verschwindet. Bei der Abschlußscheibe 3 kann es sich sowohl um die Lichtscheibe als auch um eine das Gehäuse abdeckende Schutzscheibe handeln. Das Gehäuse 2 weist an seinem Umfang in vorteilhafter Weise einen Absatz 12 auf, in dem der Rand der Abschlußscheibe 3 aufgenommen wird. Der Kragen 15 kann entsprechend so gewählt werden, daß der gesamte Rand der Abschlußscheibe 3 in dem Absatz 12 aufgenommen wird.An enlarged representation of the gap 11 with the adjacent body part 4 and the headlight 1 can be seen in FIG. 2.
