Dabei ist sichergestellt, dass sich beim Eindrehen der Lampe 5 in die Aufnahmeöffnung 6 der Reflektor 2 sich genau zur Lampe 5 ausrichtet. Anschließend wird die Abschlussscheibe 7 auf das Gehäuse 1 aufgesetzt und an diesem befestigt. Danach drückt die Abschlussscheibe 7 mit ihren beiden Anlageflächen 11 die Vorsprünge 15 des Reflektors 2 gegen Flächen des Anschlags 3 des Gehäuses 1. Dadurch ist der Reflektor 2 auch bei einem Wechsel der Lampe 5 weitestgehend spielfrei und im Fahrbetrieb vibrationsfrei gehalten. Claims (8)

  1. Lighting unit for motor vehicles with a housing (1), having a fixed reflector (2), which is inserted into the housing (1) from the front and which has contact with a forward-pointing limit stop (3) of the housing (1), having a holding device (4) holding the reflector (2) to the limit stop (3) of the housing (1), having a light bulb (5) being inserted from the back of the housing (1) in a reception opening (6) formed by the housing (1) and the reflector (2) and fastening the reflector (2) to the housing (1), and having a cover lens (7) with an edge region (9) pointing into the insertion direction (8) of the reflector (2) and being placed on and fixed to a front fastening edge (10) of the housing (1),
    characterized in that
    the holding device (4) holds the reflector (2) between itself and the limit stop (3) of the housing (1) by means of least one contact face (11) of the cover lens (7), the contact face (11) of the cover lens (7) facing the fastening edge (10) of the housing (1).
  2. Lighting unit following claim 1, characterized in that the contact face (11) of the cover lens (7) limits one side of the space (12) formed by the outer edge region (9) of the cover lens (7) and the fastening edge (10) of the housing (1).
  3. Lighting unit following claim 2, characterized in that the contact face (11) of the cover lens (7) touches at least one lug (13, 14) of the reflector (2) protruding outward and protruding into the space (12).
  4. Lighting unit following one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a first lug (13) of the holding device (4) of the reflector (2) is formed rigidly and at least a second lug (14) is flexible, and wherein at least the flexible lug (14) touches the cover lens (7).
  5. Lighting unit following one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the holding device (4) has at least one projection (15) pointing in the insertion direction (8) of the reflector (2) which touches a surface of the limit stop (3) of the housing (1) with its free end.
  6. Lighting unit following claim 5, characterized in that the projection (15) is inserted in a plug-in receptacle (16) of the housing (1), the base of the plug-in receptacle (16) being the limit stop (3) of the housing (1).
  7. Lighting unit following claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the rigid and the flexible lug (13 and 14) of the holding device (4) are molded onto the projection (15).
  8. Lighting unit following one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the contact face (11) of the cover lens (7) is formed by a cover element attached to the cover lens (7).
