Description
The invention relates to an atomizing nozzle for the ma gere pre-evaporated, premixed combustion of rivers fuels, especially in gas turbines.
The lean pre-evaporated, premixed combustion in Gas turbine combustion chambers allow an extensive reduction adornment of nitrogen oxide emissions. With this combustion concept is the fuel in the nozzle or a pre evaporator section evaporated and mixed with air, be before the mixture burns in the combustion chamber. The out press "pre-evaporation" and "premix" mean that the evaporation and mixing before the combustion zone takes place. With complete evaporation and Mixing takes place when the mixture is lean conditions, d. H. with an excess of air and low temperatures, resulting in lower nitrogen oxide emissions leads. Incomplete evaporation of the fuel leads to combustion in a diffusion flame the fuel drop around. The combustion stabili settles in near-stoichiometric areas, d. H. with approximately equal proportions of oxygen and Fuel. This results in locally high consumption temperature with high nitrogen oxide emissions.
Nozzles for the lean pre-evaporated and premixed Combustion are for example from DE 37 29 861 known. The liquid fuel is usually in the nozzle is injected or by air currents from an ab atomized crack edge. With this primary atomization ent is a spray in which the fuel both flows sig form (drops) as well as in gaseous form in the Air is present. In the known nozzles already atomizing the fuel with swirled Air. The mostly oppositely twisted air flows sol the fuel and atomize at the same time high turbulence in the shear layer of the two air flows homogenize the mixture.
Another such nozzle is from EP 0 660 038 known from which the preamble of claim 1 going out.
The invention is based, the lean task pre-evaporated, premixed combustion in gas turbines to improve combustion chambers so that the stick oxide emission is reduced.
This object is achieved with the features of Claim 1 solved.
The atomizer nozzle according to the invention has a pressure chamber, flows out of the air. A first goes from the pressure room Ring channel, in the inlet fuel from one Feeder is initiated, the Fuel is atomized into a spray. The feeder can be in or before the inlet of the first Ring channel can be arranged. The first ring channel is from surrounded a second ring channel, in the compressed air flows and the swirl elements for swirling the air contains. The outlets of the two ring channels open into a nozzle tube that tapers in the direction of flow. The fuel introduced is in the first ring box nal from a weakly turbulent untwisted zer post-atomized air flow. At this secondary atomization disintegrates almost all fuel drops dusts or vaporizes because of the untwisted Atomizing air flow a high relative speed between air and large drops long enough can be kept to the big drops too atomize small drops which then during the Completely evaporate the time in the nozzle. The variables determining the achievable degree of evaporation are the drop size distribution and the stay time in the nozzle caused by the autoignition time of the Fuel in the air at the given pressure and Temperature conditions is limited. With small trop there is almost complete evaporation, in the subsequent combustion to a lower one Nitrogen oxide emission leads. At the outlets of the two Ring channels meet the untwisted fuel-air Mixture of the first ring channel and the twisted Mixed air flow from the second ring duct to each other. The inside of the nozzle tube is mixed both air flows, so that a homogeneous lean force Air-substance mixture is created. The homogenization of the Mixtures in the nozzle are caused by the turbulence in the shear layer between unswirled atomization air and swirled mixed air.
This takes place in the atomizer nozzle according to the invention Atomization and pre-evaporation on the one hand and the pre mix on the other hand in separate zones. The preliminary steaming takes place with an untwisted air flow ho speed within the first ring channel, while the subsequent premixing with twisted air flow from the second ring channel done in the nozzle tube. This creates a homogeneous one Air-fuel mixture with completely vaporized Fuel that adheres to the atomizer nozzle closing combustion chamber with lower nitrogen oxide emissions sion is burned.
Further advantageous developments of the invention result itself from the subclaims and the drawing.
The following is an embodiment of the invention explained in more detail with reference to the drawings.

Fig. 2 einen Trennkörper mit Drallelementen. Fig. 2 shows a separating body with swirl elements.
The spray nozzle 1 shown in Fig. 1 is provided with an air inlet 2 to a not shown pressure source such. B. a compressor connected, the heated air at a temperature of about 350 to 700 ° C at a speed of 80 to 130 m / sec. provides. The air flows into the atomizer nozzle at a pressure of 3 to over 50 bar. The air inlet 2 is annular, the cross-section tapers downstream, that is, away from the pressure source, to further accelerate the air. At the air inlet 2 is followed by a nozzle tube 3 , the diameter of which tapers continuously in the course of the current. A diffuser 4 adjoins the downstream end of the nozzle tube 3 , the cross section of which increases in the flow direction in order to slow down the air flow and to generate turbulence for the combustion chamber 5 adjoining the diffuser 4 . The transitions between the air inlet 2 , the nozzle tube 3 and the diffuser 4 are continuous, ie that there are no edges obstructing the flow.
Die Haltestreben 10 halten auch den Innen körper 6.In the air inlet 2 and the nozzle tube 3 extends an axially arranged inner body 6 , which leads the air flow in the inner region of the air inlet 2 and the nozzle tube 3 . In the annular space 7 between the inner wall of the air inlet 2 and the inner body 6 is a feed device 8 for the liquid fuel. The feed device 8 be consists of a ring body 9 surrounding the inner body 6 , which is fastened with struts 10 to the air inlet 2 be. The struts 10 also hold the inner body 6 .
In at least one of the struts 10 , a fuel line 11 extends into the ring body 9 . There is an annular, within the Ringkör pers 9 circumferential channel 12 , which takes up the fuel. Downstream, the ring body 9 ends in a tongue 13 which ends in a tear-off edge 14 . The tear-off edge 14 is located in the transition region between the air inlet 2 and the nozzle tube 3 . The annular fuel channel 12 continues within the ring body 9 downstream and has at the beginning of the tongue 13 an annular outlet opening 15 from which the fuel exits and the tongue with a film be. The ring-shaped opening 15 is located on the outside of the ring body 9 . In the area of the tongue 13 wetted with the fuel film, the interior 7 of the air inlet 2 has its smallest cross section. The inner body 6 has its largest diameter in this area, the width of the passage area for the air being approximately halved in comparison with the inlet area of the air inlet 2 . The incoming air has an increased speed here. The inflowing unswirled air flow flows around the ring body 9 and the tongue 13 inside and outside and drives the fuel on the outside of the tongue 13 towards the tear-off edge 14 . The air flow detaches the fuel at the tear-off edge 14 , a spray 16 being formed from air and fuel drops.
In the inlet region of the nozzle tube 3 there is an annular separating body 17 which divides the nozzle space 18 located between the inner body 6 and the nozzle tube 3 into an inner first annular channel 19 and an outer second annular channel 20 . The first ring channel 19 is delimited by the inner body 6 and the separating body 17 . The second annular channel 20 , which runs concentrically to the first annular channel 19 , is delimited by the separating body 17 and the nozzle tube 3 . The two ring channels 19 , 20 are connected to the air inlet 2 at their upstream ends. The two ring channels 19 , 20 are connected to the nozzle chamber 18 at their downstream ends.
The tear-off edge 14 is arranged in the upstream input region of the first ring channel 19 . The spray 16 which forms behind the tear-off edge 14 is moved by the air flow through the first annular channel 19 . In the course of the first annular channel 19 , spray mixture 16 expands in the direction of the walls. The height of the first ring channel 19 is designed so that no fuel drops wet the walls. Wetting the inner parts of the atomizer nozzle 1 with fuel would have the consequence that this would linger too long in the atomizer nozzle 1 and, due to the high temperature and the pressure of the inflowing air, would already ignite within the atomizer nozzle 1 and not in the combustion chamber 5 .
The detachment of the fuel film at the tear-off edge 14 is referred to as primary atomization. This creates more or less large fuel drops. In the most annular channel 19 , the so-called secondary atomization of the fuel takes place. The fuel drops are atomized in the first ring channel 19 due to the high relative speed between the swirling air and the fuel drops to smaller and smaller fuel drops. The passing on both sides of the separation edge 14 air envelops the forming behind the tear-off edge 14 fuel-air mixing Ge sixteenth This reduces the risk of fuel shock on the walls of the first ring channel 19 . The smaller fuel drops evaporate due to the air temperature, which is why the first ring channel 19 is also referred to as the pre-evaporation zone VZ. The length of the first annular channel 19 is dimensioned such that as many fuel drops as possible evaporate, which can be achieved by a long residence time of the fuel, but the residence time is not so great that auto-ignition of the fuel occurs within the atomizer nozzle 1 .
In the second ring channel 20 there are swirl elements 21 which set the air flowing axially into the second ring channel 20 in rotation, ie give the air flow a peripheral component. A section of the separating body 17 is shown in plan view in FIG. 2. The swirl elements 21 are formed as curved baffles, the amount of swirling of the air being determined by the degree of deflection. The swirled air enters the nozzle chamber 18 at the downstream end of the second ring channel 20 and hits the swirling fuel-air mixture 16 there. In the nozzle chamber 18 , which forms the premixing zone MZ, the fuel-air mixture 16 and the swirled air mix with one another to form a homogeneous mixture, with an air ratio of approximately 2 desired for the lean combustion being achieved, depending on the design of the gas turbine. "Air number 2 " means that twice the amount of air is present as in a stoichiometric combustion. Due to the steady decrease in the cross-sectional area of the nozzle chamber 18 , the fuel-air mixture is continuously accelerated, so that no flow separation and no backflows into the nozzle chamber 18 are possible.
At the downstream end of the nozzle tube 3 , the inner body 6 ends in a tip. This tip has an air outlet 22 which is connected to an inlet channel 23 and an inner cavity 24 of the inner body 6 . Air enters the inlet channel 23 in the region of the feed device 8 and is guided into the cavity 24 . There, the air is accelerated due to the reduction in cross section of the cavity 24 , so that its speed is adapted to that of the air flowing around the inner body 6 . At the end of the cavity 24 , the air emerges from the air outlet 22 and prevents the flow from becoming detached and swirled behind the tip of the inner body 6 . In the body 6 , the inner contour of the nozzle tube 3 and the swirl elements 21 are designed so that the fuel-air mixture 16 does not reach the inner body 16 or the nozzle tube 3 at a suitable air flow.
The flowing fuel-air mixture is expanded in the diffuser 4 and swirled into the combustion chamber 5 , where it is ignited.
