Abstract

A process for detecting a fault in the water supply or water discharge unit of a program-controlled washing machine or dishwasher uses a level sensor. The sensor is an analog pressure sensor and the program control unit generates a fault signal when the changing speed of the pressure signal is below a preset limit value.

Description

The invention relates to a method for detecting an error in the water supply or water drain of a program-controlled washing machine or dishwasher machine using a level sensor that measures the liquid level a container for washing and rinsing liquid.

In washing machines of the type mentioned at the beginning, errors in the water supply can occur due to shut-off taps or malfunction of the inlet valves. Further water supply errors are due to constipation in the detergent area rinsing possible. If such errors occur, it can be caused by a program urgent switching on of the heating and subsequent dry heating to overheating tongues and damage to the washing machine. Water drainage errors can be caused by defects in the drain pump or a stop occur in the drain area.

It is known to detect a fault in the water inlet or water outlet evaluate the signal from a pressure switch that functions as a level sensor. The water level that can be measured with the pressure switch is reached supervised. Errors of the aforementioned type are only recognized relatively late where due to the risk of damage to the washing machine or the environment of the Washing machine is enlarged.

The invention is therefore based on the problem of a method for detection to reveal a fault in the water inlet or outlet with which one Response to such an error is possible faster. According to the invention, this problem is solved by a method with the features of Claim 1 solved. Advantageous refinements result from others Subclaims.

Es zeigen: An embodiment of the invention is purely based on drawings is shown schematically and is described in more detail below. Show it:

Fig. 1 den Programmablaufplan des Wasserzulaufs einer programmge steuerten Waschmaschine, Fig. 1 shows the program flow chart of the water supply of a program controlled washing machine,

Fig. 2 shows the program flow chart of the water flow of a programmable washing machine.

The structure of a washing machine for performing the Ver driving is known from DE 44 38 760 A1 and for this reason in the drawing not shown in detail. The washing machine has a tub, into which the water inlet at the start of the washing machine via one of the Pro the solenoid valve is switched. Promotes water drainage a drain pump takes the liquid out of the tub through a drain tube. The solenoid valve and the drain pump are switched on depending on the status or program through the program control. At the bottom A riser is connected to the area of the tub, at the top There is an analog pressure sensor at the end. This gives to the program tax the pressure in the riser and thus the water level in the lye container-dependent voltage signal. The change in this voltage signal during the entire switch-on time of the solenoid valve and the alkalis pump monitored by the program control.

If the solenoid valve is switched on, there is no slope within 30 seconds Air pressure, an error LED flashes from the program control controlled. If after another 30 seconds there is still no rise in the If pressure is sensed, the program is terminated. The error LED is cleared as soon as the slope of 10 mm WS is reached.

Fig. 2 zeigt den Programmablaufplan des Wasserablaufs. Fig. 2 shows the program flow chart of the water flow. A clogged lint filter or a blocked drain pump will interrupt the water flow. In response to this, the pressure proportional voltage signal drops to a standstill. If the level does not fall below 40 mm WS within a period of 1′15 ′ ′, the error LED is switched on. After a further 5 minutes, the program is canceled. The error display is cleared if the monitored level is undershot.
