Die Erfindung betrifft Kraftstoff- oder Schmierölmiachungen und insbesondere Benzinralschungen.
Es sind bereits verschiedene Additive zur Verwandung in
Benzin oder anderen Kraftstoff en vorgeschlagen worden,
welche die Korrosion veroindern und Im Falle von Benzin
als Gefrierschutzmittel und Vergaserdetergentlen wirken.
Derartige Additive werden jedoch bei Anwesenheit von
Feuchtigkeit im Kraftstoff in ihrer Wirkung beeinträchtigt,
da hierbei TrUbungs- und Emulsionsprobleme in Verbindung
mit nicht akzeptierbaren Additiwerlusten durch Abwände·
rung des Additivs in die wässrige Phase oder - insbesondere
bei Anwesenheit von Rost - Adsorption desselben an Tankoder Rohrleitungsoberflächen auftreten können. Ebenso
wurden auch schon Additive für die Verwendung in Schraierölmischungen als Korrosionssohutzeittel vorgeschlagen,
Jedoch können diese Additive die Probleme der Emulsionsbildung bei Anwesenheit von Wasser hSuf ig noch verschlimmern, insbesondere beispielsweise in Dampfturbinenölen.
Mit der vorliegenden Erfindung werden nun verbesserte
Kraftstoff- oder SohaierSlalschungen vorgeschlagen, welche
zum größeren Gewiohtsteil aus einen kraftstoff oder
Schmieröl bestehen und einen geringeren Gewichtsteil Additiv A bestehend aus {1} einer Mono- oder Polyoarbonsäure mit 10 bis 60 Kohlenstoffatoeen ja Molekül oder
einem Anhydrid oder Ester einer solchen Säure oder (2)

Das Benzin kann ein für Verbrennungsisotorea. Obliehes
Benzin sein, welches in verschiedenen i&salttStea angeboten
wird. Diese Benzine können aus Henisehera von verschiedenen
Kohlenwasserstoffen bestehen»- weleiie Aroeaten,
Olefine, Paraffine, Isoparaffine, Naphthene υηά
auch Diolefine einschließen. Sie werden aus Erdöl
Raffinationsverfahren wie fraktionierte Destillation*
thermisches Kracken, Dampf kracken, katalytisches Kraeken,
katalytisches Reformleren, Polymerisation»
Alkylieren und Isomerisation erhalten. sieden im allgemeinen zwischen 25° und 225°b
nach der ASTM-Methode D86). Ihr Dampfdruck (feestiafflt nach
ASGM-Methode D323) ist verschieden! er tiMßgfc wob. der Jahreszeit
ab, in welcher das Benzin verwendet weräen soll,
und liegt zwischen etwa 0,4- und etwa 1,1 kg/era bei j?8 C·
Die Cetanzahl dieser Benzine (bestimmt nach der ASÜH-Methode
D908) kann sich zwischen etwa 70 tmd 105 bewegen
oder auch noch höher liegen.

Schmierölen alt S&S-Zahlen von 30, 40 oder 50, Rizinusöl,
Plschule» cagrdierte Mineralöle oder Brightstooks· Es
können auch synthetische Ester verwendet werden, z.B.
Diester wie ale durch Veresterung von Carbonsäuren (z.B.
Adipln- oder Sebacinsäure) sit einwertigen Alkoholen
erhaltenen Diester oder koaplexe Ester wie die durch
Veresterung eines mehrwertigen Alkohols (z.B. eines PoIyglycola) »it einer zweibasischen Säure (z.B. Sebacin-
oder AdipinffSare) irnd einem einwertigen Alkohol (z.B.

.Fall ein Hol Glycol mit zwei Molen Säure oder Anhydrid
reagiert.
Es können auch aromatische Alkohole, z.B. Benzylalkohol oder Toluylalkohol, sowie phenolische Verbindungen, z.B.
Phenol selbst, die Kresole, Xylole oder Catechol, verwendet werden.
Eine weitere geeignete Klasse von Monohydroxyverbindungen
stellen die Etheralkohole dar, welche beispielsweise
durch Umsetzung von aliphatischen Alkoholen mit einem
Alkylenoxyd erhalten werden. Geeignete Etheralkohole enthalten beispielsweise 2 bis 40 Kohlenstoffatome im
Molekül; es gehören also unter anderem Methoxymethanol,
Äthoxybutanol und Athoxyäthanol dazu.
Geeignete Aminoverbindungen sind primäre, sekundäre und
tertiäre Monoamine, Diamine, Polyamine und Hydroxy aminoverbindungen.
Das Additiv A2 kann sieh beispielsweise von Aminoverbindungen der allgemeinen Formel R^R^NH oder RJfyRcN
ableiten, worin IU, R^ und R,- Alkyl-, Alkaryl- oder

Wenn es erwünscht ist, kann das Additiv A2 auch.aus einem
Ammonium- oder Aminsalz des Reaktionsproduktes einer
Mono- oder Polyearbonsäure oder des Anhydrids oder eines Esters derselben (z.B. einer substituierten Bernsteinsäure
oder des Anhydrids oder eines Esters derselben) mit einer
Amino- oder Hydroxyverbindung bestehen. Hierfür muß natürlich
mindestens eine freie Carboxylgruppe oder phenolische Hydroxygruppe zur Bildung des Salzes vorhanden
sein.

Weitere besonders bevorzugte Additive des Typs A2 sind die
Urasetaungsprodukte einer Fettsäure (z.B. Ölsäure, Linolsäure
oder Stearinsäure) mit einem Aminoalkylmonoalkanol~ arain (z.B. ArainoMthyläthanolamin oder Aminopropylpropanolarain).
Gegebenenfalls können die erfindungsgemäSen Kraftstoff-
oder Sehmierölmisehungen auch zwei oder mehr der oben
beschriebene» Additive Al und/oder A2 enthalten·
Beim Additiv 6 kann das Phenol» von welchem sich der Ester
des alkoxy!ierten Phenolaldehydharzes ableitet, einen
Substituenten wie einen Kohlenwasserstoffrest oder substituierten
Kohlenwasserstoff rest oder eine Acy !gruppe tragen. Dieser Substituent kann in Parastellung zur phenolischen
Gruppe stehen, Jedoch auch die Meta- oder Orthostellung
einnehmen. Die substituierten Kohlenwasserstoffreste können als Substituenten beispielsweise Halogenatome tragen. Vorzugsweise
1st der Kohlenwasserstoff rest Jedoch unsubs.titulert;
so kann er aus einer Alkylgruppe, z.B. einer verzweigten Alkylgruppe, oder beispielsweise auch aus einer Alkenylgruppe
bestehen. Besonders geeignete substituierte und unsubstltulerte Kohlenwasserstoffgruppen sind solche mit
1 bis JO Kohlenstoffatomen, z.B. Methyl-, tert.Butyl-,
Heaiyl-, Decyl-, Tetradecyl-, Octadecyl-, Stearyl-, Elkosyl-,
Lignoceryl- und Cerotylgruppen sowie Mischungen derselben.
Bei der Herstellung des Phenol aid ehydharzes wird das Phenol
mit einem Aldehyd kondensiert. Der Aldehyd besteht vorzugsweise aus Formaldehyd oder Paraformaldehyd, jedoch
können statt dessen auch andere Aldehyde verwendet werden,
insbesondere solche mit höchstens 25, z.B. weniger als
8 Kohlenstoffatomen im Molekül, z.B. Acetaldehyd, ButyrsXdenyd, Benzalde^d oder Proplonaldehyd. Furfurylaldehyd

Das Phenolaldehydharz, aus welchem der Ester hergestellt
wird» kann nach bekannten Verfahren erhalten werden.
Zur Herstellung eines sich vom Phenol selbst ableitenden
Phenolaldehydharzes ist ein besonders geeignetes Verfahren
in "Preparative Methods of Polymer Chemistry", Interseience
Publishers Inc., New York, von Sorenson und Campbell,
Seite 295 (Ausgabe 1961) beschrieben, bei welchem man
Phenol und Aldehyd in Gegenwart eines sauren Katalysators zusammen erhitzt· Bei der Umsetzung von Phenol mit dem
Aldehyd verwendet man vorzugsweise 0,6 bis 0,95 Hol Aldehyd je Mol Phenol.
Um das so erhaltene Phenolaldehydharz zu alkoxylieren,
bringt man das Harz mit einem Alkylenoxyd zur Reaktion» Vorzugsweise enthält das Alkylenoxyd nicht mehr als
4 Kohlenstoffatome im Molekül, besteht also beispielsweise
aus Äthylenoxyd, Propylenoxyd oder Butylenoxyd.
Das Harz kann In Gegenwart eines Katalysators, z.B. eines
alkalischen Katalysators wie Natriumacetat, Natriumhydroxyd oder Natrlummethylat, mit dem Alkylenoxyd umgesetzt werden.
Die Menge an alkalischem Katalysator braucht dabei nur
klein zu sein, z.B. zwischen 0,1 und 2 Gew.^. Die Reaktion
kann unter Druck, z.B. Drucken bis zu 20 Atmosphären, und bei Reaktion»temperaturen bis zu 2000C durchgeführt werden.
Die Alkoxylierung erfolgt zweckmäßig in Gegenwart eines inerten Lösungsmittels wie beispielsweise Xylol, Dekalin
oder DiSthyläther. Im allgemeinen wird die Umsetzung mit
1 bis 2 Mol Alkylenoxyd je Hydroxylgruppe im Harz durchgeführt.

Zur Hersfcellimg des Esters B wird das alkcosylierte Phenolaldehydharz
dann schließlich mit einer Carbonsäure oder einem Derivat derselben» vorzugsweise einer Monoearbonsiure»
umgesetzt· Besonders geeignet sind Monocarbonsäuren
mit 8 bis 32 Kohlenstoffatomen ira Molekül wie beispielsweise
die höheren Fettsäuren. Bs können sowohl gesättigte Fettsäuren wie Laurinsäure» Myristihsäure» Palmitinsäure
und Stearinsäure als auch ungesättigte Fettsäuren» wie
Ölsäure» Llnolsäure und Linolensäure verwendet werden.
Man kann natürlich auch Mischungen von Fettsäuren» wie
die duroh Hydrolyse von Baumwollsaato*! oder Sojaöl erhaltenen
Fettsäuregesische verwenden.

Xylol gelöst werden. Die Konzentration kann beispielsweise zwischen etwa 25 und"75 Oew·^»--SeB. bei 50
liegen.

In KraftstoffBlscbungen werden die Additive A und B, bezogen
auf das Gewicht der Gesamtmlsehung, zweckmäßig in
Mengen von 0,00005 bis 0,025 Gew,£, z.B. etwa 0,0025 Gew.&
Additiv A und 0,000005 bis 0,025 Gew.#, z.B. 0,0005 Gew.#,
Additiv B eingesetzt. Für Schmieröle liegen die geeigneten Mengen, bezogen auf das Gewicht der Gesamtmischung, beispielsweise
bei 0,005 bis 0,5 Gew.%, insbesondere 0,015 bis 0,03 Gew.Ji, additiv A und 0,005 bis 0,5 Gew.ji, insbesondere
0,025 bis O,25 Gew.^, Additiv B.
Die Kraftstoffmisohungen können darUberhinaus auch noch
andere Additive enthalten· So kann Benzin beispielsweise noch Antiklopfmittel, z.B. Bleitetraäthyl, Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe
als Spülmittel, z.B. Äthylendibromid oder
Xthylendlchlorid, Hiederschlagsmodifikatoren, z.B. organische
Ester von Oxysäuren des Phosphors, oder Antioxydantien,
z.B. 2,*-Diaethyl^ß-tert,butylphenol oder N,N -Di-sefc.butylparaphen..
lendiamin enthalten.
Die folgenden Beispiele dienen der näheren Erläuterung der
Erfindung.
Herstellung von Additiv A: Xquimolare Mengen TetrapropenylbernsteinsSureadhydrid
und NaNf-Diäthyläthanolasnln wurden
bei Raumtemperatur mit 50 Gew. % Kerosin verrührt.
Herstellung von Additiv Bj Etwas weniger als molare Mengen
Paraformaldehyd wurden »it tert.Butylphenol bei etwa 1960C
in einem aus aromatischem Schwerbenzin bestehenden Lösungsmittelsysteffl
umgesetzt. Nach Beendigtang der Reaktion wurde das Lösungsmittel so eingestellt, daß eine etwa
50 Gew.Ji Phenolformaldehydharz enthaltende Lösung erhalten
wurde, worauf das Harz mit einem Überschuß von NaOH neu-

tralislert wurde. Anschließend wurde die Lösung durch
Umsetzung mit ilthylenoxyd (1,6 g Oxyd auf 1 g Harzlösung)
äthoxyliert« Nach Neutralisation mit NaphthensMure und
Einstellung des pH-Wertes mit Dode&ylbenzolsulfoneäure
auf etwa 2 bis 3 wurde die Mthoxylierte Harzlösung zur
Bildung des Esters mit Palmitinsäure umgesetzt. Der Ester
wurde dann mit der etwa einem Drittel seines Gewichtes
entsprechenden Menge eines Copolymeren von Kthylenoxyd
und Propylenoaqtä mit Diäthanoiarnin mit einem Molekulargewieht
von etwa 4 000 bis5 000 vermischt, zur Fertigstellung
des Additivs B wurde diese Mischung dann zu etwa 50 % mit einem aus aromatischem Schwerbenzin bestehenden
Lösungsmittel verdünnt,
Mit den so erhaltenen Additiven wurde dann eine Benzinmisehung
rait einem Zusatz von O9OOOl Gew,# Additiv A und
0,0001 £tew.£ Additiv B hergestellt. Die Vorteile dieser
Mischung gegenüber Benzinmischungen« welche nur das Additiv A oder nur das Additiv B enthielten, wurden durch
den folgenden Testbewiesen *
In einem 1:""000 ml^-Glaszylinder wurden-'250 ml Benzin mit
einem MagnetrUhrer vorsichtig mit 10 ml entionisiertem
Hasser verrührt. In diese Mischung wurde ein Probestück aus Flußstahl an einem von zwei parallel zueinander» aber
nicht in kontakt miteinander eintauchenden kupferüberzogenen
Stahlstäben eingehängt. Das Stahlprobestück wurde in regelmäfiigen Abständen auf Rostbildung untersucht. Die
Ergebnisse bei den verschiedenen Benzinmischungen waren
wie folgt?

Herstellung von Additiv A: Äquiraolare Mengen Hydroxy-Sthyläthylendiamln und Ölsäure wurden bei Rauntemperatur
mit 50 Gew.% Kerosin verrührt.
Herstellung von Additiv B: Additiv B wurde auf die gleiche Weise wie in Beispiel 1 hergestellt.
Mit diesen Additiven wurde eine Benzinmlsohung unter Zusatz von O,00075 Gew.jS Additiv A und 0,00075 Gew.^ Additiv B hergestellt. Die Vorteile dieser Mischung gegenüber
Benzinmischungen welche nur das Additiv A oder nur das
Additiv B enthielten, wurden nach dem in Beispiel 1 beschriebenen Test geprüft» Die Ergebnisse waren wie folgtt

Beispiel 3 |
Kquimolare Mengen Tetrapropenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid
und n-Octanol wurden in Gegenwart einer Spur Triäthylarain
3 Stunden lang unter Rückfluß gehalten. Die so erhaltene
Lösung wurde als Additiv C verwendet.
Es wurden drei Benzimtlsohungen der folgenden Zusammensetzung hergestellt t

1) Superbenzin plus 0,0006 Gew.% Additiv B (nach Beispiel 1) und 0*003 Gew.% Additiv C;
2) Superbenzin plus 0,0006 Gew.£ Additiv 6 und 0,003 Gew.
Additiv D (Tetrapropeny!bernsteinsäureanhydrid selbst)
3) Superbenzin plus 0,003 Gew«# Additiv D,
Hit diesen Mischungen wurden Rostteete auf die gleiche
Weise wie in Beispiel 1 durchgeführt, wobei die von Rost
befallene Fläche nach I9 2, 3 und 4 Tagen ermittelt wurde·
Die Ergebnisse der Prüfung waren wie folgt:

Hieraus geht hervor, das der Rostbefall nur sehr gering
lete wenn man die erfindungsgemäßen Benzinmischungen
(Mischung 1 und 2) verwendet.

Claims (1)
- Patentansprüche1. Kraftstoff- oder Schmier81misehungen, dadurch gekennselobnet* daß sie zum größeren Gewiehtsteil aus einem Kraftstoff oder Schmieröl bestehen und einen geringeren Oewiehtstell Additiv A bestehend aus (1) einer Mono- oder Polycarbonsäure mit 10 bis 60 Kohlenstoffatomen im Molekül oder einem Anhydrid oder Ester einer solchen SSure oder (2) dem Reaktionsprodukt dieser Säure oder dieses Anhydrids oder Esters mit einer Hydroxyverbindung oder einer Aminoverbindung ,und einen geringeren Gewiefctsteil Additiv B bestehend aus einem Ester eines alkaaqrlierten Fhenolaldehydharzes enthalten.2. MiaeiFOg nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daßsie als Kraftstoff Benzin enthält.3. Kraftstoffeischung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daS sie O900005 bis 0,025 Gew.^ Additiv A und 0,000005 bis 0,025 Gew.£ Additiv B enthält.4« ulBisohung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie 0,003 bis 0,5 Gew.^ Additiv A und 0,005 bis 0,5 Gew. Mischung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie ein Additiv B enthält, welches sich von einer Monocarbonsäure mit 8 bis 22 Kohlenstoff atomen im Molekül ableitet,9. Mischung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie ein Additiv B enthält, welches noch ein Copolymere.eines Alkylenoxyds oder einer Mischung von Alkylenoxyden mit Alkanolamin umfaßt.10« Mischung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 9» dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie als Additiv Al eine Säure oder ein Anhydrid der allgemeinen Formelenthält, worin eines der Symbole R1 und R1 für eine Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe mit 10 bis 50 Kohlenstoffatomen und das andere entweder für eine Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe mit 10 bis 50 Kohlenstoffatomen oder Wasserstoff steht.009813/1224BAD11. Mischung naoh den Ansprüchen 1 bis 9 und 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie ein Additiv A2 enthält, welches sieh von einer Hydroxyverbindung der allgemeinen FormelHO(CXY)(JZOHR2ableitet, worin X, Y und Z für Kohlenwasserstoffgruppen oder Wasserstoffatome stehen, m und η jeweils Null oder eine ganze Zahl bedeuten und Rg eine Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe mit 1 bis 50 Kohlenstoffatomen oder eine Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe mit 1 bis 50 Kohlenstoffatomen und einer oder mehreren Ätherbindungen oder - wenn sowohl m als auch η eine ganze Zahl 1st - ein Wasserstoffatom darstellt·15· Mischung nach Anspruch 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß weder ra noch η größer als 5 ist·009813/1224 bad original16» Mischung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 9» dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie ein Additiv A2 enthält, welches sich von einem Monoamin der Formel *IUNH2, R^R^NH oder R5R^H5Nableitet» worin R,, R^ und R5 Kohlenwasserstoff"· oder substituierte Kohlenwasserstoffgruppen sind·1-7· Mischung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 9» dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie ein Additiv A2 enthält, welches sich von einem Polyalkylenpolyamin der Formel H2N(RNH2) H ableitet, worin R eine Alkylengruppe oder eine kohlenwasserstoff substituierte Alkylengruppe 1st.18. Mischung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 9» dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie ein Additiv A2 enthält» weiches sich von einem Hydroxyamin der allgemeinen Formel R*oderableitet, worin R, und R^ für Wasserstoff oder Kohlen* Wasserstoffgruppen und Rg, R7 und Rg für zweiwertige Kohlenwasserstoffreste stehen, vorzugsweise einem Monoalkanolamin* in welchem R~ und R^ für C1- bis Cg-Alkylgruppen stehen und Rg eine C2* bis C 1Q-Alkylengruppe ist·19. Mischung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie ein Additiv A2 enthält, welches sich von einem Amin der Formel■„.-//"■ oder. .". . ableitet, worin R,, R^ und R,- Alkyl-, Alkaryl- oder009813/122ΛBADAlkenylgruppen mit 1 bis SOQ Kohlenstoffatomen oder hydroxy* oder amlnosubstifeuierfce Alkyl- oder Alkarylgruppen mit 1 bis 200 Kohlenstoff atomen oder Wasseretoffatome bedeuten·20· Mischung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, deS sie ein Additiv A2 enthält, welches sich von einem Monoalkanolamis* ableitet, in welchem eine oder mehrere der Alkylgruppen noch einen Aminosubstituenten trägt, vorzugsweise Arainoathyläthanolamin, Äminopropyläthanolamin oder Aminopröpylbutanolamin,21· Mischung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 9 ,14 und 16 bis 20» dadurch gekennzeichnet» daß sie ein Additiv A2 enthält, welches aus dem Reaktionsprodukt einer Hydroxy- oder Aminoverbindung mit einer Bernsteinsäure» welche mit einer oder mehreren Kohlenwasserstoff gruppen, vorzugsweise Alkenyl- oder Alky!gruppen mit 10 bis 4o Kohlenstoffatomen, substituiert ist, oder mit einem Anhydrid oder Ester derselben besteht·22. Mischung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 9» 14 und 16 bis 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie ein Additiv A2 enthält, welches aus einem Ester der FormelR1-CH- rJ -ch-besteht» worin eines der.Symbole R1 und R1 für eine Alkenylgruppe mit 8 bis 40 Kohlenstoffatomen und das andere für Wasserstoff steht und R2 eine C^- bis009813/1224BAD ORIGINALC,p-Alky!gruppe öder die Gruppeist, worin Rq und R10 für C1- bis Cg-Alkylgruppen stehen und Rg eine C2* bis C^Q-Alkylengruppe ist, wobei die Gesaratzahl der Kohlenstoffatome in den Gruppen Rq, R10 und Rg zwischen 4 und 12 liegt«23« Mischung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 9 und 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie ein Additiv A2 enthält, welches aus dem Reaktionsprodukt eines Aminoalkylmonoalkanolamins mit einer Fettsäure, vorzugsweise Ölsäure, Linolsäure oder Stearinsäure besteht.hb:wy009813/1224
