Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Kautschukersatzes, der die Eigenschaften des aus- der Hevea Guyanensis gewonnenen Kautschuks besitzt. Das Verfahren wird auf folgende Weise durchgeführt: Lebertran oder vegetabilische Öle, am zweckmäßigsten das öl der Sonnenblume (Helianthus annus), wird in bekannter Weise mit Chlorschwefel behandelt;The present invention relates to a method for the preparation of a rubber substitute, the properties of the rubber obtained from the Hevea guyanensis owns. The procedure is carried out in the following way: cod liver oil or vegetable Oils, most appropriately the oil of the sunflower (Helianthus annus), is used in treated with sulfur chloride in a known manner;
To this solution is added a hydrocarbon prepared in the following manner. Pure amyl alcohol is warmed up slightly and treated with fuming sulfuric acid while air is constantly being blown in, and air is blown in until the evolution of sulphurous acid ceases. This creates a dense black mass that is passed through a felt filter and treated with quicklime. The supernatant liquid is subjected to fractional distillation. After the volatile constituents have been separated off, an oily body with an extremely disgusting odor escapes. When the temperature of 117 ° C. is reached, the hydrocarbon used here begins to escape, which then passes until the end of the distillation, while only coke remains in the distillation flask. This hydrocarbon is added to the dissolution of factice in gasoline and this solution is combined with a dissolution of matesite in gasoline. The tough, very sticky mass available in Madagascar, the matesite, forms the main component of the sap of a plant of the genus Apocyneae, which, however, in this state cannot be used for the present purpose and is therefore subjected to the following treatment. The sticky juice is in a saline solution of 2 ° Be., Which is heated up to 30 0 C., poured and shaken in this salt solution for half an hour, the solution is whitely turbid and takes on a beer-like odor. After the specified time, the salt solution is poured off and the mass retained on sieves is rinsed through in cold water, whereupon it loses its stickiness, becomes elastic and in this state after being crushed is subjected to a further treatment with gasoline in a vacuum, with only that for the further Fabrication of usable parts go into solution. The dissolution of matesite, factice and the above-described hydrocarbon in gasoline is allowed to pass through a stirrer for the purpose of careful mixing. The finished mass is then freed from gasoline by gentle heating and using a vacuum. The remaining mass then represents the rubber substitute, which has all the properties of the rubber obtained from Hevea guyanensis.
Demgegenüber hat der Zusatz des Kohlenwasserstoffes zu den Lösungen von Faktis und Matesit den Zweck, den darzustellenden Kautschukersatz trockner,It is admitted that the manufacture of so-called factice u by the action \ 7 on sulfur chloride to fatty oils. The like. Is generally known. In contrast, the addition of the hydrocarbon to the solutions of factis and matesit has the purpose of drying the rubber substitute to be represented,
He also makes the product through his own low price significantly cheaper, since when the hydrocarbon is added to the matesite can add significantly more factice without affecting its strength and elasticity. With the addition of 40 to 50 percent pure factice, matesite becomes sticky and loses its ductility while one is at Adding the hydrocarbon to the Matesit can add up to 70 to 80 percent, without losing its properties.
