  • F u ß b o d e n b e l a g s b a h m Die Neuerung betrifft Fußbodenbeläge wie Matten, Läufer, Teppiche usw. aus Kokos-, Sisal-oder ähnlichen Textilfasern, mit abwaschbarer und rutschfester Kunststoffunterlage auf ihrer Rück-(Unter-) Seite.
  • Mit dem Ziel, ein Ausfransen der Kanten zu vermeiden sowie auch, um die Verbindung zwischen Kunststoffunterlage und dem eigentlichen Fußbodenbelag aus Kokos, Sisal oder dergleichen einigermaßen fest und sicher zu gestalten, werden Fußbodenbeläge mit Einfassungen versehen, die zugleich als Kantenschutz dienen.
  • Solche Einfassungen (z. B. aufgeklebt oder genäht) haben aber den Nachteil, daß sie an irgendeiner Stelle schon recht bald einreißen und damit die Zerstörung der Ränder des Belages einleiten. Auch ist durch das Stolpern über diese-stets gegenüber dem Belag erhöhte Punkte aufweisenden-Einfassungen die Gefahr von Unfällen gegeben, die nicht selten auch eintreten und u. a. beträchtlich ! Kosten verursachen. Die beabsichtigte Wirkung ist also mit den bisher bekannten Randeinfassungen nicht zu erzielen.
  • Durch die Neuerung werden diese Nachteile bei Fußbodenbelägen beseitigt.
  • Die Neuerung zeichnet sich aus durch eine Latexaufbringung (Latex-Schicht) an den Rändern des Belages, welche mit der Kunststoffunterlage verschweißt ist.
  • Die neuerungsgemäße Ausführung von Fußbodenbelägen gewährt alle Vorteile, die durch die bisher bekannten Randeinfassungen zwar erreicht werden sollten, in Wirklichkeit aber nicht eintraten. Ein solcher neuartiger Fußbodenbelag ist ohne unerwünschte Erhebungen oder vorstehende Teile an seinen Rändern, und die Verbindung des Faserteiles mit der Unterlage ist fest und sicher. Ein Ausfransen der Kanten des Belages ist nunmehr unmöglich.
  • Das beigefügte Muster zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Neuerung.
