Die erfindungsgemäßen Pigmente sind gegenüber den nächstvergleichbaren aus der DT-AS 11 88 229
und der GB-PS 10 36 334 bekannten Pigmenten hinsichtlich der Klarheit des Farbtons und der Deckkraf:
überlegen.
Als Amine der genannten allgemeinen Formel 2. die frei von wasserlöslich machenden Gruppen, wie
Carbonsäure- und Sulfonsäuregruppen sind, können Verbindungen der Benzol-, Naphthalin-, Anthrachi-11

Die Herstellung der Diazoniumverbindungen aus den Aminen der genannten Forme! 2 erfolgt in bekannter
Weise. In einigen Fällen sind die Diazoniumsalze in wäßrigem Medium schwerlöslich und scheiden
sich ab.
Man kann sie isolieren und als feuchte Paste zur Kupplung bringen. Man kann die Diazotierung
jedoch auch in einem geeigneten organischen Medium durchführen, beispielsweise in Eisessig, Alkohol, Dioxan,
Tetrahydrofuran, Formamid, Dimethylformamid oder Dimethylsulfoxyd, und die so erhaltene
Lösung der Diazoniumverbindung mit der Azokomponente vereinigen.
Die Farbstoffe lassen sich in Substanz, auf der Faser oder auf einem anderen Substrat, beispielsweise
auf Schwerspat, herstellen.
Die Herstellung der Farbstoffe auf pflanzlichen Fasern erfolgt nach den bekannten Methoden der
Eisfarbentechnik.
Die Herstellung der Farbstoffe in Substanz erfolgt nach an sich bekannten Methoden, beispielsweise
durch Vereinigung der Diazoniumverbindungen mit den Azokomponenten in wäßrigem Medium, vorteilhaft
in Gegenwart eines anionaktiven, leationaktiven
oder nichtionogenen Dispergiermittels oder in Gegenwart eines organischen Lösungsmittels.
Die so erhaltenen Farbstoffe sind häufig von hartem Korn und müssen dann zur Erzielung der vollen Farbstärke und der optimalen Echtheiten einer Nachbehandlung
unterworfen werden. Beispielsweise erhitzt man zu diesem Zweck die getrockneten und gemahlenen
oder feuchten Farbstoffe in Pyridin, Dirnethylformamid oder anderen organischen Lösungsmitteln,
wie Dimethylsulloxyd, Alkohol oder Chlorbenzol einige Zeit unter Rückfluß oder auf höhere Temperaturen
unter Druck. In einigen Fällen gelingt die überführen in eine kornweiche Form auch durch
ίο Erhitzen mit Wasser unter Druck, gegebenenfalls
unter Zusatz von Dispergiermitteln.
Die nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren erhältlichen Farbstoffe stellen wasserunlösliche Pigmente
dar. Sie eignen sich zur Herstellung von gefärbten Lacken, Lackbildnern, Lösungen und Produkten
aus Acetylcellulose, natürlichen Harzen oder Kunstharzen, wie Polymerisations- oder Kondensationsharzen,
wie beispielsweise Aminoplasten oder Phenoplasten, sowie aus Polystyrol, Polyolefinen, wie
beispielsweise Polyäthylen oder Polypropylen, PoIyacrylverbindungen,
Polyvinylverbindungen, beispielsweise Polyvinylchlorid oder Polyvinylacetat, Polyestern,
Gummi, Casein- oder Siliconharzen.
Die neuen Farbstoffe eignen sich ferner für den Pigmentdruck auf einem Substrat, insbesondere auf einer Textilfaser sowie auch auf anderen flächenformigen Gebilden, wie beispielsweise auf Papier. Sie können auch für andere Verwendungszwecke, z.B. in feinverteilter Form zum Färben von Kunstseide aus Viskose oder Celluloseethern bzw. -estern. Polyamiden oder Polyurethanen in der Spinnmasse oder zum Färben von Papier verwendet werden.
Die neuen Farbstoffe eignen sich ferner für den Pigmentdruck auf einem Substrat, insbesondere auf einer Textilfaser sowie auch auf anderen flächenformigen Gebilden, wie beispielsweise auf Papier. Sie können auch für andere Verwendungszwecke, z.B. in feinverteilter Form zum Färben von Kunstseide aus Viskose oder Celluloseethern bzw. -estern. Polyamiden oder Polyurethanen in der Spinnmasse oder zum Färben von Papier verwendet werden.
Auf Grund ihrer günstigen Theologischen Eigenschaften lassen sich die Farbstoffe in den genannten
Medien gut verarbeiten. Sie weisen dann gute Licht-, Wetter- und Migrationsechtheiten auf. Sie sind weiterhin
hitzebeständig, farbstark und zeigen in vielen Fällen reine, brillante Farbtöne. Gegen Einfluß von
Chemikalien, beispielsweise von Lösungsmitteln, insbesondere aber gegen saure und alkalische Einwirkungen,
sind sie beständig.
24,2 Gewichtsteüe 2-Aminoanilsol-4-carbonsäureanilid
werden in 100 Vo'umteilen Wasser und 80 Volumteilen 5n-Salzsäure verrührt und mit 50Volumteilen
2 n-Natriumnitritlösung bei 5 bis 10° C diazotiert.
Anschließend wird die Lösung geklärt.
Im Kupplungsgefäß werden 200 Volumteile 4nNatriumacetatlösuhg
und 100 Volumteile 2n-Essigsäure vorgelegt. Hierzu gibt man bei 5° C die Diazolösung
und läßt dann eine Lösung von 35 Gewichtsteilen 1 - Methyl - 5 - (2',3' - oxynaphthoylamino)-benzimidazolon
in 200 Volumteilen Wasser, 200 Volumteilen 2n-Natronlauge und 40 Volumteilen einer
10%igen wäßrigen Lösung des Reaktionsproduktes
6c aus 1 Mol Stearylalkohol und 20 Mol Äthylenoxyd
einlaufen. Man rührt etwa IS Minuten nach, bis die Kupplungsreaktion zu Ende ist.
Anschließend wird der Farbstoff abgesaugt, gewaschen
und getrocknet. Zur überführung in eine
S5 kornweiche und farbstarke Form wird der gemahlene
Farbstoff in 400 Volumteilen Dimethylformamid 1 Stunde auf 80° C erhitzt. Der Farbstoff wird dann
abgesaugt, gewaschen und getrocknet.

24,2 Gewichtsteile 2 - Aminoanisol - 4 - carbonsäureanilid
werden in 200 Volumteilen Wasser und 50 Volumteilen 5n-Salzsäure verrührt und mit 50 Volumteilen
2 n-Natriumnitritlösung bei 50C diazotiert.
Anschließend wird die Lösung geklärt.
Im Kupplungsgefäß werden 35 Gewichtsteile

1 - Methyl - 5 - (T,3' - oxynaphthoylamino) - benzimid
azolon in 400 Volumteilen Wasser, 160 Volumteilei 2n-Natronlauge und 80 Volumteilen einer 10%igei
wäßrigen Lösung des Einwirkungsproduktes voi 1 Mol Stearylalkohol und 20 Mol Äthylenoxyd be
7O0C gelöst und anschließend bei 55°C mit eine
Mischung aus 20 Volumteilen Essigsäure und 80Vo lumteilen Wasser in feinverteilter Form ausgefälll
Zu dieser Suspension läßt man die Diazolösung be 80°C innerhalb von etwa 30 Minuten nach Maßgabi
des Verbrauchs einlaufen. Nach beendeter Kupp lungsreaktion wird der Farbstoff abgesaugt, gewä
sehen, getrocknet und gemahlen.
Zur überführung in eine kornweiche und farbstarki
Form wird der Farbstoff in 400 Volumteilen Dimethyl formamid 90 Minuten auf 110°C oder in 400 Volum
teilen Pyridin 6 Stünden auf 125° C erhitzt. An schließend wird der Farbstoff abgesaugt, gewascher
und getrocknet.
In ähnlich kornweicher und farbstarker Form er hält man den Farbstoff, wenn man ihn nach den
Trocknen und Mahlen in 400 Volumteilen 25%igeir wäßrigem Äthylalkohol unter Druck 4 Stunden au
14O0C erhitzt. Anschließend wird der Farbstoff abgesaugt,
gewaschen und getrocknet.
Der so erhaltene Pigmentfarbstoff der Formel

und 40 Volumteile einer 10%igen wäßrigen Lösung des Einwirkungsproduktes aus 1 Mol Stearylalkohol
und 20 Mol Äthylenoxyd vorgelegt. Man gibt die Diazolösung hinzu und läßt dann eine Lösung
von 35 Gewichtsteilen l-Methyl-5-(2',3'-oxynaphthoylamino)-benzimidazolon
in 200 Volumteilen Wasser und 200 Volumteilen 2n-Natronlauge innerhalb
von 20 Minuten zulaufen. Nach beendeter Kupplungsreaktion wird der Farbstoff abgesaugt und gewaschen.
Zur überführung in eine farbstarke und kornweiche h orm wird der feuchte Preßkuchen in 400 Volumteilen
Dimethylformamid 90 Minuten auf 1000C erhitzt Dann wird der Farbstoff abgesaugt, gewaschen und
getrocknet. Der so erhaltene Pigmentfarbstoff der Formel

Die Verarbeitung in Polyvinylchlorid erfolgt beispielsweise nach folgendem Verfahren: 16,5 Gewichtsteile eines Weichmachergemisches, bestehend aus
gleichen Teilen Dioctylphthalat und Dibutylphthalat, werden mit 0,05 Gewichtsteilen Farbstoff und 0,25 Gewichtsteilen
Titandioxyd vermischt. Dann werden 33,5 Gewichtsteile Polyvinylchlorid zugegeben. Das
Gemisch wird 10 Minuten auf einem Zweiwalzenstuhl mit Friktion gewalzt, wobei das sich bildende Fell mit
einem Spatel fortlaufend zerschnitten und zusammengerollt wird. Dabei wird die eine Walze auf einer
Temperatur von 400C, die andere auf einer Temperatur von 1400C gehalten. Anschließend wird das Gemisch
als Fell abgezogen und 5 Minuten bei 160° C
zwischen zwei polierten Metaüplatten gepreßt.
16,4 Gewichtsteile 2 - Aminotoluol -A- carbonsäuremethylamid
werden mit 80 Volumteilen 5n-Salzsäure verrührt und bei 5 bis 10° C mit 50Volumteilen
2n-Natriumnitritlösung diazotiert. Anschließend wird die Lösung geklärt.
Im Kupplungsgefäß werden 35 Gewichtsteile 1 - Methyl - 5 - (2',3' - oxynaphthoylamino) - benzimidazolon
in 600 Volumteilen Pyridin suspendiert. Hierzu läßt man innerhalb von 30 Minuten die Diazolösung
einlaufen. Unmittelbar nach dem Ende des Zulaufs ist die Kupplungsreaktion beendet. Anschließend wird
das Kupplungsgemisch im geschlossenen Gefäß 2 Stunden auf 1400C erhitzt. Der Farbstoff wird dann abgesaugt,
gewaschen, getrocknet und gemahlen. Der so erhaltene Pigmentfarbstoff der Formel

19,5 Gewichtsteile 4 - Chlor - 3 - amino - benzotrifluorid
werden in 80 Volumteilen Essigsäure gelöst und bei Raumtemperatur mit 16,7 Raumteilen einer
6n-Lösung von Natriumnitrit in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure diazotiert. Die Lösung wird dann mit
100 Volumteilen Eiswasiser verdünnt und geklärt.
Im Kupplungsgefäß werden 200 Volumteile 4n-Natrimmacetatlösung
vorgelegt. Man gibt die Diazolösung hinzu und läßt anschließend eine Lösung von
35 Gewichtsteilen 1 - Methyl - 5 - (2',3' - oxynaphthoylamino) - benzimidazolon in 200 Volumteilen Wasser,
200 Volumteilen 2n-Natronlauge und 40 Volumteilen einer 10%igen wäßrigen Lösung des Einwirkungsprodulctes
aus 1 Mol Stearylalkohol und 20 Mol Äthylenoxyd innerhalb von 30 Minuten zulaufen. Nach beendeier
Kupplungsreaktion wird das Kupplungsgemisch kurz auf 90° C erhitzt. Anschließend wird der
Farbstoff abgesaugt, gewaschen, getrocknet und gemahlen.
Zur überführung in eine kornweiche und farbstarke Form wird der Farbstoff in 400 Volumteilen Dimethylformamid
2 Stunden auf 1000C erhitzt. Dann wird der Farbstoff abgesaugt, gewaschen und getrocknet.
Der so erhaltene Pigmentfarbstoff der Formel
ergibt beim Einarbeiten in Polyvinylchlorid, in einen
Lack, eine Druckfarbe oder in eine Spinnmasse reine, gelbstichigrote Färbungen von sehr guten Licht- und
Lösungsmittelechtheiten.
16,4 Gewichtsteile 2 -Aminotoluol - 4 - carbonsäuremethylamid
werden mit 80 Volumteilen 5n-Salzsäure verrührt und bei 5 bis 10° C mit 50 Volum teilen 2n-Natriumnitritlösung
diazotiert. Anschließend wird die Lösung geklärt.
Im Kupplungsgefäß werden 35 Gewichtsteile ^0
! - Methyl - 5 -(2',3' - oxynaphthoylamino) - benzimidazolon
und 40 Gewichtsteile wasserfreies Natriumacetat in 600 Volumteilen Dimethylformamid suspendiert.
Hierzu läßt man bei 60° C innerhalb von 30 Minuten die Diazolösung einlaufen. Man rührt 15Minuten
nach und erhitzt dann das Kupplungsgemisch im geschlossenen Gefäß 3 Stunden auf 1400C. Anschließend
wird der Farbstoff abgesaugt, gewaschen

50 g Baumwollgarn werden 45 Minuten bei 35 C Minute Luftgang 5 Sekunden mit Wasser von 70 bis
in dem nachfolgend beschriebenen Grundierungiba.H 80" C und 5 Sekunden in einem Bad, das 3 ecm Salzbehandelt,
abgeschleudert, getrocknet und in dem säure von 20° Bc im Liter enthält, behandelt. Die so
nachstehend genannten Entwicklungsbad bei 20 C 50 erhaltenen Färbungen werden in der üblichen Weise
ausgefärbt. Dann wird abgequetscht und nach einer geseift und gespült.
Grundierungsbad
15,0 g 1 - Methyl - 5 - (2',3' - oxynaphthcylamino)- 55 Natronlauge von 38° Bc in etwa 800 ecm kochendem
benzimidazolon werden mit 50 g denaturiertem Äthyl- Wasser gelöst und auf 1 1 eingestellt,
alkohol angeteigt und nach Zugabe von 15,5 ecm
alkohol angeteigt und nach Zugabe von 15,5 ecm
Entwicklungsbad
12,1 g 1 -Amino^-methoxybenzol-S-carbonsiiurcphcnylamid
werden in bekannter Weise in der Kälte mit 20.5 ecm Salzsäure von 20 Bc und 4 g in Wasser
gelöstem Natriumnitrit diazotiert. Nach beendeter Diazoticrung stellt man mit 15 g aufgelöstem Natriumacetat
und 2 g eines handelsüblichen 20%igcn Kondensationsproduktes aus 1 Mol Dodccylalkohol
und 30 Mol Äthylenoxyd auf I I ein.
Man erhält auf diese Weise eine reine, blaustichigrote
Färbung mit guten Echtheitseigenschaften.
Verwendet man im vorliegenden Beispiel an Stelle von I - Methyl - 5 - (2',3' - oxynaphthoylamino) - benzimidazolon
die äquivalente Menge I - Äthyl-5 - (2',3' - oxynaphthoylamino) - benzimidazolon oder
1 -Isopropyl-5-(2',3-oxynaphthoylamino)-benzimidazolon
oder I - Cyclohexyl - 5 - (2.3' - oxynaphthoyl-

amino)-benzimidazolon, so erhält man gleichfalls Rotfarbungen mit ähnlichen guten Echtheitseigenschaften.

Cyan, Nitro, Äthylsulfonyl, Phenylsulfonyl, Acetyl, Benzoyl, Acetamino, Benzoylamino,
2. Monoazoverbindung gemäß Anspruch 1 der Formel

N-Benzylsulfonamid, N-Phenylsulfonamid,
