A
The new dyes are obtained by reacting a diazotized aminoazo compound A NH 2, in which A is an arylazoaryl radical, with a hydroxynaphthalenesultonic acid of the formula . or with a hydroxynaphthalenesultonic acid of the formula each coupling in an adjacent position to the hydroxyl group. In the general formulas (VI) and (VII), Rl, R 2 and X have the meanings already given.
A
in der Formel (I).
in bevorzugt wäß-.rigem Medium.A further method for the preparation of the new dyes is to use amino aze dyes of the formula-B -N = N -D- NH2 (VII1) where B has the meaning given and D is an aryl radical, with a couplable compound H where E stands for an aromatic radical capable of coupling, combined. In the dyes available here, the constituent DN = NE is then to be equated with an arylazoaryl radical A in formula (I). Aminoazo dyes of the formula (VIII) can be obtained by reacting a hydroxynaphtha-linsulfonic acid of the formula (VI) or (VII) with an azo group-free diazotized 4-nitro or 4-acylamino-aniline, such as 4-nitro or 4- Acetylamino-2,5-d-ialkoxyaniline, in the adjacent position to the hydroxyl group, converts the nitro or acylamino group into an amino group by reduction or saponification, which can then be diazotized for the further coupling reaction. Some of the new dyes can also be prepared in such a way that aminoazo dyes of the formula A- N # N-B '(IX) in which A has the meaning given and W is a radical or mean in which Rl, R 2 and X have the meaning given and where the amino group in the radical R 1 is in the o-position to the azo grouping $ triazolated. The triazolation, i.e. H. the conversion of the o-aminoazo groups in the right-hand part of components (X) and (XI) takes place in a manner known per se by treating the o-aminoazo dyes with copper sulfate at boiling temperature in a preferably aqueous medium.
The coupling to be used for the most diverse process variants
Starting components is also carried out in a manner known per se, and
depending on the type of starting compounds used, in aqueous or organic-aqueous
Medium under alkaline, neutral or acidic conditions.

Typs (VI) herstellen durch Kuppeln einer-geeigneten_ Aminonaphtholsultonsäure mit
