Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Nadelvliesteppich nach dem Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1.
Bei der Herstellung von derartigen Nadelvliesteppichen sind bezüglich der Eigenschaften des fertigen Produkts unter anderem die beiden wesentlichen Forderungen hinsichtlich ausreichender Festigkeit und Weichheit bzw. hinsichtlich eines zufriedenstellenden textlien velourähnlichen Charakters zu beachten. Durch die Auf- und teilweise Durchnadelung der zweiten losen Vliesschicht auf die Unterseite der Nutzschicht wird durch die dabei auf die Begehseite durchgestoßenen Fasern der textile flauschige Charakter verbessert, aber unter Umständen die Festigkeit der vorgenadelten Nutzschicht beeinträchtigt. Zur Erzielung trotzdem ausreichender Festigkeit wird der soweit gefertigte Nadelvliesteppich mit Bindemittel imprägniert. Damit dadurch der zunächst vorhandene flauschige Charakter nicht zu sehr leidet, wird das Bindemittel durch Migration auf der Unterseite bzw. in der dort aufgenadelten zweiten Vliesschicht angereichert. Der nun zwar ausreichend verfestigte Nadelvliesteppich konnte aber hinsichtlich seines textlien flauschigen Charakters nicht befriedigen.
Es stellt sich daher die Aufgabe, diesen Nadelvliesteppich ohne wesentlichen Verlust an Festigkeit in seinem textlien flauschigen Charakter noch wesentlich zu verbessern.
Dies wird erfindungsgemäß durch die im Kennzeichen des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmale gelöst.
Das teilweise Zerbrechen der Bindemittelschicht kann auf verschiedene Weise durchgeführt werden.
Vorteilhaft ist es, wenn man den Nadelvliesteppich nach der Imprägnierung und Aushärtung des Bindemittels erneut durch eine Nadelmaschine laufen läßt, die jedoch mit hakenlosen Nadeln bestückt ist. Bei dieser Arbeitsweise ist es im Prinzip gleichgültig, von welcher Seite die Nadeln zuerst in die Teppichbahn einstechen. In bestimmten Fällen ist es jedoch angebracht, daß die Nadelung mit den glatten Nadeln von der Begehseile, d. h. von der bindemittelarmen Schicht aus erfolgt. Auf diese Weise kann man erreichen, daß eine dünne geschlossene Bindemittelschicht erhalten bleibt, wenn man die Nadelungstiefe entsprechend einstellt. Diese dünne geschlossene Bindemittelschicht beeinträchtigt die Weichheit des gesamten Flächengebildes nicht merklich, erleichtert aber, wenn es später erwünscht ist, ein Aufkleben eines Schaumstoffes oder einer juteschicht.
■Man kann bei dem Nadelvorgang zum teilweisen Zerbrechen der Bindemittelschicht auch gewöhnliche Hakennadeln verwenden. Bekanntlich beginnen die Widerhaken bei vielen Typen nicht gleich an der Nadelspitze, sondern erst in einer Entfernung von z. B. 1 cm. Wenn die Vliesbahn also nicht zu dick ist, können die glatten Spitzen der Widerhakennadeln in diese ausreichend tief eindringen, um die Bindemittelschicht teilweise zu zerbrechen, ohne daß die ersten Haken mit der Vliesbahn in Kontakt kommen.

Claims (2)

Patentansprüche:
1. Nadelvliesteppich aus einer die Nutzschicht bildenden vorgenadelten Vliesschicht, auf deren Unterseite eine lose Vliesschicht aufgenadelt ist, die eine durch Bindemittelanreicherung erhaltene, versteifend wirkende Bindemittelschicht enthält, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Bindemittelschicht zumindest teilweise zerbrochen ist.
2. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Nadelvliesteppichs nach Anspruch 1, bei dem eine die Nutzschicht bildende, vorgenadelte Vliesschicht auf ihrer Unterseite mit einer losen Vliesschicht vernadelt wird, in der sodann durch Bindemittelanreicherung eine versteifend wirkende Bindemittelschicht gebildet und ausgehärtet wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Bindemittelschicht durch einen Nadelungsvorgang mit hakenlosen Nadeln zumindest teilweise zerbrochen wird.
