KAISERLICHES PATENTAMT. KLASSE 52: Nähmaschinen. Auf beiliegender Zeichnung zeigt: Fig. ι eine Vorderansicht, Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht des Apparates, Fig. 3 eine Ansicht der Klappe A bezw. des Fadenführers mit aufgenietetem Steg B von unten. Wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich ist, besteht die Pressionsklappe und der Fadenführer aus einem Stück A, auf welchem der Steg B festgenietet ist. Der Faden wird über den Steg B zur Spule geleitet, ein besonderes Einfädeln, Durchziehen oder Herumführen des Fadens fällt also weg. Der Selbstspuler ist mit der Schraube c an dem vorspringenden Theil / des Radschutzes so befestigt, dafs derselbe noch etwas um diese Schraube c beweglich bleibt. Soll der Apparat in Thätigkeit, also mit dem Schwungrad in Berührung gesetzt werden, so drückt man den Haken C nach links; letzterer trifft dann mit seiner Unterkante auf die etwas abgeschrägte Fläche am Fufs g des Radschutzes, hebt dadurch den ganzen Apparat (weil er um die Schraube c drehbar ist) so weit in die Höhe und gleichzeitig nach hinten, bis der Gummiring i auf der Spindel k an die Peripherie des Schwungrades / angedrückt wird. Zieht man den Haken wieder zurück, so neigt sich der Apparat nach vorn und die Verbindung mit dem Schwungrad wird gelöst. Die Feder d drückt die Pressionsklappe A gegen die Spule.
