weist an seiner offenen Seite

Tellerrad 8 in Eingriff.
Axle housing for the axle drive consisting of pinion, ring gear and differential. The invention relates to an axle housing for the axle drive consisting of a pinion, ring gear and differential. In the known drive axles, the axle housing for the axle drive consists of a bearing housing made of malleable cast iron or cast steel, which has holding stubs on both sides into which axle tubes are pressed. In the axle tubes, the presence extending drive shafts, which lead to the outside of the drive axle to the wheels and nagleichgetrieben into long on the inside in the housing of the *, the bearing housing and the pressed-in axle tubes form an axle support which the entire axial forces and moments For this purpose , the retaining stubs that receive the axle tubes are very stiff and are also connected to the entire bearing housing by cast ribs. The stiff design of the bearing housing required for this is very expensive because of the very complicated and difficult-to-cast shape. In addition, due to its high strength and necessary elasticity, malleable cast iron or cast steel must be selected as the material so that the housing can absorb the heavy axle loads. The present invention is based on the task of saving costs, in which only simple gray cast iron parts and pressed sheet metal parts are used in a favorable arrangement to one another and which has the same or better strength properties as the previous axle designs. The invention solves this problem in that the bearings for the axle drive parts are housed in a cast block, which by pressed parts made of sheet metal or the like. to a @ the axle drive completely @mclosing axle housing and an axle bridge is added. With particular advantage, the axle bridge consists of a sheet metal housing that supports the axle tubes. which carries stiffening struts above and below, the two ends of which are connected to the axle tubes . The sheet metal housing has a flange on its open side , via which it is connected to the corresponding flange of the cast block. The stiffening struts have a U-shaped profile, which surrounds the sheet metal housing in its center and is designed at its ends to form a cross-section that sends out the tube. Otherwise, the sheet metal housing is adapted to the contours of the axle drive. Weiaerhiu is connected to the saponification of the sheet metal housing by the bearing screws of the bearing blocks for the housing of the differential gear with the cast block. The cast block is preferably made of gray cast iron. The invention allows various possible embodiments. One of these is shown in the accompanying drawings, namely: FIG. 1 shows a view of the axle housing and FIG. 2 shows a partial plan view of the axle housing with a section through the axle bridge and the cast block leading the axle drive. In a not shown vehicle, the axle is a driving axle from a G @ ssblock 1 and forms an axle bridge overall, the 2 shows the out deal sheet housing two axle tubes 3 and the underneath and extending above the sheet metal housing 2 stiffening struts forms, this stiffening struts are permanently connected the sheet metal housing 2 and connected at their ends to the axle tube 3. The axle tubes 3 are stored in holding stubs 5 of the sheet metal housing 2, in which they are permanently held. In the cast block 1, the pinion 6 is supported in a bearing bush 7 and is in engagement with the ring gear 8. The ring gear 8 is non-rotatably attached to the housing of the differential gear 9. The housing of the differential gear 9 is guided on both sides on the cast block 1 and held by bearing blocks 1o. The axle shafts between the driven wheels and the differential are shown here only in sections. The cast block 1 has a flange 11 and the sheet metal housing 2 has a corresponding flange 12, on which both parts are screwed together. For further stiffening, the sheet metal housing 2 is connected to the cast block 1 via the bearing screws 13 of the bearing blocks 1o. As a result of this connection, the tooth engagement forces of the ring gear with the pinion, which act on the bearing block on the side of the ring gear and cause a dangerous bending moment there, are caught by the sheet metal housing 2. The advantage of this invention lies in the fact that the entire drive axis is much easier to design and easier to manufacture. The sheet metal housing 2 and the vertical struts 4 are deep-drawn parts made of sheet metal and are in connection with the axle tubes 3, which can be obtained as a half-blade. The Guaablock 1 is also cheap to design and manufacture, which is made in gray gas compared to the previous production of the bearing housing, and a represents a much simpler casting model. In addition, the axle bracket, which is formed from the sheet metal housing 2, the axle tubes 3 and the stiffening struts, has a significantly higher strength than the previous axle housing made of malleable or cast steel with the singly pressed Aoherehren.
