Die zu kühlende Flüssigkeit tritt durch den Stutzen 5 ein, gelangt in dem Kanäle α allmählich bis zur Mitte der Vorrichtung und tritt hier durch die Oeffnung 0 in den Kanal b über, in dem sie den Weg zurück bis zum Austrittsstutzen n> macht. Die Kühlung erfolgt durch Einbringen der Vorrichtung in einen beliebigen Kühlbehälter. Zwecks gründlicher Reinigung können die Platten von einander gelöst werden. Das Zusammenhalten der Platten kann durch zwei Rahmen r, welche durch Keile, Schrauben oder dergl. angezogen werden, geschehen.
