Die bisher im Gebrauch befindlichen Reibungsschaltscheiben für Werkzeugmaschinen, bei welchen nach der Schaltung die Kraftübertragung ausgelöst wird, haben den Nachtheil, dafs sie einer besonderen Steuerung bedürfen, welche diese Auslösung bewirkt.The friction switching disks previously in use machine tools, in which the power transmission is triggered after switching, have the disadvantage that they require a special control, which causes this triggering.

Beim Wechsel der Drehrichtung schliefst sich zunächst der federnde Ring wieder, nimmt durch Reibung die Scheibe c mit und öffnet sich erst nach Anschlagen des Excenterhebels g an den andern Stift.
