The invention relates to a maneuver cartridge disintegration projectile, consisting of a front part of the projectile and a rear part of the projectile with an enclosed compact made of metal powder, wherein the connecting contact surface of the projectile front and rear part is formed so that its line of intersection as a straight line (cone) inclined towards the central axis, as an S-shaped line or appears as a thread profile, according to patent 1189 890.
The object of the previous invention was to establish a secure connection between the two storey parts. The object of the present invention is to make this connection even more bulletproof. This is achieved in that the two cutting lines in a cutting plane through the floor axis diverge towards the front in the weft direction and the outer surface of the projectile on or in front of the guide band reach. This measure ensures that the connecting contact surfaces that simultaneously Closure point of the two projectile shell parts are, not the high tension and hot gases of the Propellant are exposed. This prevents the locking point from being affected the propellant gas rises and the projectile prematurely, i. e. before leaving the barrel, drifts apart.
It is easily dismantled, especially in its essential parts from an easily breakable one Mass existing exercise projectile became known, in which the projectile head is wedge-shaped to the rear tapering and protruding into the projectile body extension is arranged, the upon impact of the projectile is able to propel the projectile body apart. It is at So this projectile is not a decay projectile that is supposed to disintegrate after leaving the barrel. Rather, it is a projectile that should only come apart when it hits the target location. The purpose attainable with the present invention is not sought there. With this well-known The solution is rather a cavity to which the hot and highly stressed Propellant gases have access through the joints of a shear pin and a floor.
Es zeigtThe invention is illustrated and described, for example, with reference to a drawing in two figures. It shows

The shell 1 of the front part of the projectile is connected to the shell 2 of the rear part of the projectile via conical contact surfaces which form intersection lines Ια and 2a in a sectional plane through the projectile axis. The projectile has two or more metal powder compacts 3 and has a guide band 4 which lies backwards with respect to the opening of the cone. Seen from the floor, the connecting contact surfaces are therefore further forward. In Fig. 2, the connecting contact surfaces are also in the guide band 4. This ensures that the joint is particularly long and thus its strength is particularly large. Both the projectile according to FIG. 1 and that according to FIG. 2 is inserted in a cartridge neck 7 and is fastened therein. At the tip, the projectile also has a cavity 8 which elastically absorbs impacts on the tip of the projectile.
When the projectile is fired, the hot and high-tension gases press on the floor of the projectile 5 and propel the projectile forward. The trains of the barrel wall dig into the guide belt 4, and a particularly large and effective sealing of the propellant gases is achieved. Included it has been shown that the guide tape should be at least 10 mm wide with a 2 cm caliber, is better still a width of 12 to 15 mm. With such a design, practically none come to the parting line Propellants closer.
