The invention relates to an oxygen breathing apparatus with regeneration of the exhaled air, its Oxygen bottle is arranged in a recess of the air cleaning cartridge, on which the chemicals containing space on opposite sides of the chemical filling in the direction of flow Breathing bag and a breathing tube used for both inhalation and exhalation connected are.
A known device of this type works on the pendulum system. This has the disadvantage that the breathing air is passed through the air-cleaning cartridge filled with chemicals, both when inhaling and when exhaling, so that there is a relatively large dead space in the device. This has the consequence that the device wearer, especially when breathing shallowly, inhales a large part of the exhaled air, which is strongly enriched with CO 2. It causes an unphysiological breathing activity and represents a danger for the device wearer.
The invention is based on the object of eliminating this disadvantage of the known device.
According to the invention, the object is achieved in that the space receiving the oxygen cylinder Air-cleaning cartridge sealed airtight to the outside and connected to the breathing hose and the Connection between the breathing bag and the room in the air purification cartridge containing the chemicals is connected and that the breathing air by means of inhalation and exhalation valves after leaving the breathing tube is returned to this in the cycle. A device according to the invention has the advantage that his breathing resistance is lower because the breathing air flows through the air purification cartridge only once got to.
AusatemluftThere are several options for arranging the inhalation and exhalation valves. For example, the sieve on the side of the chemical filling facing the breathing tube can be provided with inhalation valves and a base piece that closes the space containing the oxygen cylinder can be provided with an exhalation valve; or the sieve is provided with exhalation valves on the side of the chemical filling facing the breathing tube and a base piece that closes off the space containing the oxygen cylinder is provided with an inhalation valve. The space of the air cleaning cartridge that holds the oxygen bottle can be sealed off from the outside by a rubber ring. In a further embodiment of the invention, the air purification cartridge is on its side opposite the protruding end of the oxygen bottle with a lid-like oxygen breathing apparatus with regeneration

Finally sealed airtight. The rubber ring can be screwed onto the neck of the oxygen bottle Nut against the oxygen bottle and the longitudinal wall of the oxygen bottle receiving it Be pressed into space. It is useful to have the lid-like closure with an inwardly protruding to provide circumferential flange in which several holes are arranged. After all, he can the space receiving the oxygen cylinder in connection with the breathing tube via a number of bores stand.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing.
Zwei weitereThe oxygen cylinder 1 is encased in the form of a jacket by the air cleaning cartridge 2 and connected to it via the pressure reducer 3, the cylinder valve 4, the metering nozzle 5 and the manual auxiliary valve 6. The ring-shaped air cleaning cartridge is filled with CO 2 absorption compound 7, which is arranged between the sieve 8 and the sieve 9 loaded by a compression spring 10. The sieve 8 located in the head part 11 of the air cleaning cartridge 2 is provided with inhalation valves 21 so that a flow through the CO 2 absorption compound 7 is only possible in the direction of the head part. The space 12 of the air purification cartridge 2, which accommodates the oxygen bottle 1, is closed off at its end opposite the head part 11 by a base piece 13 which is provided with an exhalation valve 14. The space 12 is sealed to the outside by a rubber ring 15 which is pressed against the oxygen bottle and the longitudinal wall of the space 12 receiving the oxygen bottle by a nut 16 screwed onto the neck of the oxygen bottle. A number of bores 17 establish the connection from the space 12 to the breathing tube 18, which is connected to the head part 11 of the air cleaning cartridge 2 in front of the inhalation valves 21. Diese verbinden die vom Bodenstück 13 und dem Verschluß 19 begrenzte Kammer 24 mit der Luftreinigungspatrone 2 bzw. mit dem Atembeutel 22.Connections on the air purification cartridge are used to attach the breathing bag 22 and the pressure relief valve 23. A lid-like closure 19 of the air purification cartridge, which allows it to be refilled with new CO 2 absorption compound 7 after the device has been used, is provided with bores 20. These connect the chamber 24 delimited by the base piece 13 and the closure 19 with the air cleaning cartridge 2 or with the breathing bag 22.
When the cylinder valve 4 is open, the oxygen flows from the oxygen cylinder 1 to the pressure reducer 3, is relaxed there, then passed through the metering nozzle 5 and the air cleaning cartridge 2 over the cartridge connection 25 in the head part 11 is supplied.
The exhaled air flows from the mouthpiece 26 through the breathing tube 18 to the head part 11 of the air cleaning cartridge 2 and from there through the bores 17 into the space 12 and passes through the exhalation valve 14 through the bores 20 in the closure 19 into the breathing bag 22.
During the inhalation process, the air collected in the breathing bag 22 flows through the sieve 9 to the CO 2 absorption material 7, where it is freed of CO 2 and then passes through the sieve 8, the inhalation valves 21 and the breathing tube 18 and the mouthpiece 26 into the lungs of the Device carrier.
If the oxygen supply is too low during greater exertion, pressure can be applied the button of the additional manual valve 6 additional oxygen can be fed into the device. Will the in constant Amount of incoming oxygen is not completely consumed by the device wearer an overpressure in the device after a foreseeable period. The device is then on by pressing a button Vent pressure relief valve 23.
