Anlage zur Induktionsheizung für zu erwärmende Werkstücke, welche auf einer durch wassergekühlte Schienen gebildeten Gleitbahn einen Induktor durchlaufen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß parallel zu jeder wassergekühlten Schiene (2,3) wenigstens ein Hilfsleiter (4, 5; 6, 7) in geringem Abstand von der Schiene angeordnet ist, welcher von einem Strom solcher Frequenz und Stärke durchflossen wird, daß die mittlere Temperatur der von den Schienen gekühlten Zonen des zu erwärmenden Werkstücks gleich der mittleren Temperatur desselben wird.
