Description

  • Schmiermittel für Textilmaschinen Zur Verhütung des Metallabriebs und zur Verminderung der Reibung an sich gleitend berührenden Teilen werden Schmiermittel verwendet. Erfolgt die Gleitbewegung stets in gleicher Richtung, bildet das Schmiermittel einen zusammenhängenden hydrodynamischen Film. Hierfür eignen sich die bekannten, bei den üblichen Schmiertemperaturen flüssigen Schmieröle.
  • Besteht die Gleitbewegung in einer wechselnden Hin- und Herbewegung, wie das an Textilmaschinen, z. B. Spinnmaschinen, Wirkmaschinen und Bobinetmaschinen, häufig vorkommt, führen Schmiermittel mit leichtfließendem Charakter an den Umkehrstellen der Bewegung zu offenen Stellen, reißen den Schmiermittelfilm auf und beeinträchtigen damit den gewünschten Schutz.
  • Nach der der Erfindung zugrunde liegenden Erkenntnis ergibt sich ein besser an den metallischen Gleitflächen haftender und selbst an den Umkehrpunkten einer Hin- und Herbewegung nicht vorzeitig abreißender Schmiermittelfilm bei Verwendung von zweidimensional vororientierten und danach zerkleinerten Kettenpolymeren als Schmiermittel.
  • Gleitlagerschalen aus Polyamiden sind bekannt. Demgegenüber handelt es sich bei der Erfindung um ein Schmiermittel, das zwischen die aufeinander gleitenden Körper eingebracht wird und dort einen Schmiermittelfilm bildet, der sich auf Grund seiner zweidimensionalen Vororientierung, die durch Kalandrieren, Folienguß, Verspinnung, Verstreckung oder andere bekannte Maßnahmen erreicht werden kann, selbst in der danach vorgenommenen Zerkleinerung und Vermahlung zu einem feinen, streufähigen Puder rasch wieder orientiert hat und dann einen elektrischen Strom in der Fließrichtung um ein Mehrfaches besser leitet als senkrecht dazu und auf Grund dieser Eigentümlichkeit auf den metallischen Gleitflächen sehr intensiv haftet. Das gilt auch dann, wenn die Substanzen selbst elektrische Nichtleiter oder Wenigleiter sind. Statt durch Einpudern lassen sich die Schmiermittel gemäß der Erfindung auch als Lösung in einem wasserfreien, leicht verdunstenden Lösungsmittel zwischen die Lagerstellen einbringen.
  • Aus den genannten Gründen kommen Schmiermittel, auch wenn sie hochmolekular sind, die aber bei den normalen Schmiertemperaturen flüssig sind, nicht in Frage, sondern eignen sich am besten makromolekulare Substanzen, die erst oberhalb 100° C thermoplastisch werden und deren Moleküle sich durch Kalandrieren u. dgl. anisotrop orientieren. Von der Erfindung bevorzugte Ausführungsformen sind Polymere oder Copolymere vom Typ der Polyamide, Polyurethane, Polyester, Polycarbonate, Polyalkylhalogenide, Polyolefine, Polyacetale oder Polyalkohole oder ihre Gemische.

  1. PATENTANSPRÜCHE: 1. Verwendung von zweidimensional vororientierten und danach zerkleinerten Kettenpolymeren als Schmiermittel für Textilmaschinen.
  2. 2. Ausführungsformen nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch die Verwendung von Polymeren oder Copolymeren vom Typ der Polyamide, Polyurethane, Polyester, Polycarbonate, Polyalkylhalogenide, Polyolefine, Polyacetale oder Polyalkohole oder ihrer Gemische.
  3. 3. Ausführungsformen nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, gekennzeichnet durch die Verwendung der Polymeren in Puderform oder als Lösung in einem wasserfreien, leicht verdunstenden Lösungsmittel.
