Description
It is already known to use surface-active compounds as so-called cleaning enhancers in chemical cleaning to be used. It is also known that the surface-active bodies especially then one Good cleaning effect, especially for water-soluble dirt, when they have the ability to handle water in the common solvents such as petrol hydrocarbons or low molecular weight chlorine-containing aliphatic hydrocarbons, even in the presence to bind of hydrophilic tissues.
The cleaning effect depends on the water-binding and emulsifying capacity of the cleaning booster, with regard to the removal of the water-soluble dirt, the moisture content of the cleaning liquor and the items to be cleaned represent decisive factors. Since in the cleaning process the resulting Pigment dirt is filtered off, is another essential prerequisite for carrying out the cleaning process, that the cleaning liquor including the cleaning enhancer, solubilized water, dissolved and undissolved dirt remains filterable. Fulfill the products previously known as cleaning enhancers Although this last requirement, it reduces a subsequent hydrophobization from an organic solvent with the usual metal compounds based on aluminum, zirconium or titanium, be it considerably by their substantivity, d. H. due to their binding to the fiber material, which prevents them from being flushed out, or in that they make at least one flushing process necessary. Products are also known the subsequent hydrophobization with the usual metal compounds, ζ. Β. acylated aluminum, titanium or zirconium alcoholates from organic liquor do not interfere. However, these products either require an insufficient one The cleaning liquor can be filtered or does not have a satisfactory water-binding or water-binding agent Emulsifying power.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß sich der chemische Reinigungsprozeß ohne Beeinträchtigung der nachfolgenden Hydrophobierung mit den üblichen Metallverbindungen auf Basis von Aluminium, Zirkon oder Titan bei guter Entfernung des wasserlöslichen Schmutzes und einem guten Wasserbindevermögen der Reinigungsflotte bei einwandfreier Erhaltung der Filtrierfähigkeit derselben durchführen läßt, wenn man den üblicherweise in der chemischen Reinigung verwendeten Lösungsmitteln Verbindungen der allgemeinen FormelIt has now been found that the chemical cleaning process can be carried out without affecting the subsequent Hydrophobization with the usual metal compounds based on aluminum, zirconium or titanium good removal of water-soluble dirt and good water-binding capacity of the cleaning liquor with perfect preservation of the filterability of the same can be carried out if the usually in Solvents used in dry cleaning Compounds of the general formula

The salts used according to the process of the present invention are added to the cleaning liquors added in amounts of about 0.5 to 50 g / l. Preferably about 3 to 30 g / l are used. Instead of of the salts can, under certain circumstances, also be the free acids themselves or mixtures of different salts or the free acids and their salts are used. The compounds have excellent water-binding properties. The water can be added to the cleaning solution before or during the cleaning process. Before or during the cleaning process, the water content of the liquor is adjusted so that the textile material assumes a moisture content corresponding to conditioning of 70 to 90% relative humidity.

2 kg of nonylphenoxyacetic acid are added to the cleaning liquor Magnesium added and the addition of water adjusted so that a relative humidity of 75 to 80% prevails. The cleaning effect of the liquor is excellent Filterability very good. Subsequent waterproofing of the garments from a tetrachlorethylene liquor with monostearic aluminum diethylate and Indonesian paraffin in a ratio of 2: 1 results in no intermediate rinsing process with solvents at least the same hydrophobicity effect as a hydrophobization of the material without prior Cleaning process.
In contrast, cleaning the same types of fibers in tetrachlorethylene under the same conditions results in however, with the addition of known cleaning enhancers, the values are considerably worse. The results are in the table below for cotton poplin. The sprinkling tests were carried out using the "Bundesmann" method determined.
A mixture of monostearic aluminum diethylate and Indonesian was used as the water repellent Paraffin used in a ratio of 2: 1. The water repellent was made from a tetrachlorethylene liquor.
Mit gleichem Erfolg lassen sich auchSimilar good results are obtained if the magnesium salt of nonylphenoxyacetic acid is used instead the alkali salts, e.g. B. the sodium or potassium salt is used.
