Description
It is known that the threads produced by the usual spinning process have a furrowed surface show and consist of a skin and a core. The presence of the skin and core can be through Staining of a cross-section cut out under appropriate conditions. Such Methods are described in the "Textile Research Journal" 1945, p. 443. Another procedure exists in measuring the degree of axial diffusion of dyes, as in the "Textile Research Journal * 1948, P. 9. It is believed that in addition to the difference in dyeability and swellability between the skin and the core the cellulose molecules of the skin are more oriented than those of the core, and one therefore assumes that the strength of the viscose fibers is mainly due to the skin. It is Z. B. general It is known that the technical viscose yarns used in the manufacture of tires are significant have thicker skin than ordinary textile thread. In British patents 652 741, 652 746, 654083 methods are specified for obtaining viscose threads of a special type which do not have a furrowed surface and a mutually more interlocking boundary between the skin and the core than unchanged Showing threads by spinning viscose in the presence of certain water-soluble quaternary ammonium compounds or certain bath-soluble monoamines or certain aliphatic monoamines.
In British patent 533 309 it was already proposed to use a small amount (less than 0.2%) of an amine or add amine condensation product to the precipitation bath in order to precipitate insoluble compounds to avoid in the spinneret.
The inventive method for producing artificial fibers or threads by spinning Viscose in a precipitation bath containing sulfuric acid and zinc sulphate is characterized in that the viscose is a Contains polyalkylenepolyamine, which has at least three amino or imino groups that are not directly are interconnected, with an amount of 1 millimole to 5 millimoles of polyalkylenepolyamine per 100 g of viscose comes.
künstlicher Gebilde, wie Fasern oder FädenThe threads obtained thereby have a significantly thicker skin, and the boundaries between the skin and the core penetrate each other more than in the case of threads which are obtained under the same conditions but without the addition of polyalkylenepolyamine. The core can practically be eliminated by selecting the concentration of the polyalkylenepolyamine accordingly. The cross-sectional shape of the threads is influenced by the use of these polyalkylenepolyamines. For example, threads showing a bean or dog bone shape can be obtained. The threads produced according to the method have a smooth process of manufacture
