  • Organic Low-Molecular-Weight Compounds And Preparation Thereof (AREA)

Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Katalysatoranordnung für die Reinigung der Abgase von mager betriebenen Verbrennungsmotoren. Es wird vorgeschlagen, einen dünnwandigen, porösen Trägerkörper auf der einen Seite mit einem Stickoxid-Speicherkatalysator und auf der anderen Seite mit einem SCR-Katalysator zu beschichten. Wird das Abgas durch die katalytischen Beschichtungen und das Trägermaterial hindurchgeführt, so wird eine wesentliche Verbesserung der Stickoxid-Umsetzung erhalten, verglichen mit einer Hintereinanderschaltung der Katalysatoren auf getrennten Trägerkörpern. Als dünnwandige Trägerkörper haben sich Wandflußfilter bewährt.
