Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Befestigen eines Filtermaterials auf einer Haltevorrichtung vorgestellt. Dabei wird zunächst das Filtermaterial auf die Halteeinrichtung aufgelegt. DOLLAR A Anschließend wird das Filtermaterial durch eine Niederhalteeinrichtung fixiert. Niederhalteeinrichtung und Filtermaterial werden dann mit einem Laserstrahl durchstrahlt, und die Halteeinrichtung wird in der Fügezone aufgeschmolzen. Dabei durchdringt die Schmelze das Filtermaterial und beim Abkühlenlassen der Anordnung verkrallt sich das Filtermaterial mit der Halteeinrichtung.

Description

    Gebiet der Erfindung
  • Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft allgemein die Filtration von Gasen und Flüssigkeiten durch Filtermaterialien. Insbesondere betrifft die Erfindung eine solche Filtration mittels Polymer- Vliesen. Ganz speziell betrifft die Erfindung die Befestigung eines solchen Vlieses an einer Halteeinrichtung.
  • Hintergrund der Erfindung, Stand der Technik
  • Polymer-Vliese, insbesondere solche auf der Basis von Polyestern, werden zur Filtration von Gasen und Flüssigkeiten eingesetzt. Zur besseren Handhabung muss das Vlies hierbei in der Regel mit einer Halteeinrichtung, bspw. einem Rahmen, verbunden werden. Dabei kommen Klebungen oder aufwendige Klemmungen zum Einsatz. Beim Einsatz von konventionellen Schweißverfahren, wie bspw. Ultraschall, besteht die Gefahr, das Vlies durchzuschweißen, so dass Löcher entstehen können.
  • Zusammenfassung der Erfindung
  • Es ist daher die Aufgabe der Erfindung, ein Verfahren bereit zu stellen, das es erlaubt, auf einfache Art und Weise ein Filtermaterial auf einer Halteeinrichtung zu fixieren.
  • Eine weitere Aufgabe der Erfindung liegt darin, die Fixierung so durchzuführen, dass dabei das Filtermaterial nicht beschädigt wird.
  • Diese und weitere Aufgaben werden durch das Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 und die Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 13 gelöst.
  • Weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind in den Unteransprüchen enthalten.
  • Kurze Beschreibung der Zeichnung
  • Die Erfindung wird im folgenden anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Dabei zeigt die einzige Figur schematisch das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren.
  • Detaillierte Beschreibung der Ausführungsbeispiele
  • Erfindungsgemäß wird vorgeschlagen, das verwendete Filtermaterial, bspw. ein Polymer-Vlies durch einen Laserschweißvorgang auf einer Halteeinrichtung, bspw. einem Kunststoffrahmen, zu fixieren. Die Figur zeigt, dass hierbei die Vlieslage 2 zwischen einem für Laserstrahlung transparenten Niederhalter 4 und dem Rahmen 6, mit dem es verbunden werden soll, bevorzugt durch Verpressung eingespannt wird. Der transparente Niederhalter besteht vorzugsweise aus Glas, es kann aber auch jedes andere für Laserstrahlung transparente Material verwendet werden, so dass möglichst wenig Strahlungsenergie verloren geht.
  • Anschließend wird ein Laserstrahl 8 durch den transparenten Niederhalter 4 in die Fügezone 10, d. h., den Kontaktbereich, in dem die Fügeteile aufgeschmolzen werden, eingeleitet, der das Kunststoffmaterial des Rahmens aufschmilzt, wobei dieser die Energie des Laserstrahls absorbiert. Der Prozess wird dabei so geführt, dass nur eine unwesentliche Aufschmelzung des Vliesmaterials 2 eintritt. Dies wird durch eine entsprechende Materialwahl, d. h., durch eine Abstimmung der Schmelzpunkte bzw. der Absorptionskoeffizienten im Infrarotbereich, erreicht. Die Schmelzpunkte müssen dabei in etwa gleich sein, d. h., die Differenz sollte weniger als 10 K betragen. Das durchstrahlte Material ist IR-transparent, d. h., es soll möglichst wenig Absorption und Reflexion auftreten. Als Material können bspw. bevorzugt teilkristalline Thermoplaste, wie z. B. PA 6.6, PBT, PP, PE, etc. zum Einsatz kommen.
  • Durch die Schmelzebildung 3 wird das Vliesmaterial 2 wenigstens zum Teil erfasst, d. h., das Vlies wird von der Schmelze durchdrungen und gelangt an die Oberfläche, so dass eine Verbindung entsteht, und nach dem Abkühlen auf dem Kunststoffrahmen fixiert, indem sich das Vliesmaterial mit dem Kunststoff verkrallt. Da in der Schmelzzone kein wesentlicher Druck aufgebracht wird, kommt es zur Wärmeausdehnung des absorbierenden Materials, was den Verkrallungseffekt erhöht.
  • Durch das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren gelingt es, eine Befestigung des Vliesmaterials am Rahmen zu erreichen, ohne dass ein zusätzlicher Klebstoff notwendig ist. Zudem kann die Befestigung des Vlies und das Verschweißen des Filtergehäuses in einer Anlage erfolgen, was Kosteneinsparungen zur Folge hat.
  • Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren kann insbesondere bei der Herstellung von Innenraumfiltern, Luftfiltern und Getriebeölfiltern angewendet werden. Es ist jedoch nicht auf diese Anwendungen beschränkt, sondern kann grundsätzlich überall dort angewendet werden, wo die Befestigung von Vliesen erwünscht ist, bspw. in Hygieneartikeln wie Babywindeln oder bei der Verwendung von Vliesen und Membranen in Sportkleidung.
  • Zunächst wird das Filtermaterial auf die Halteeinrichtung aufgelegt. Anschließend erfolgt die Fixierung durch den IR- transparenten Niederhalter. In einem weiteren Schritt werden der Niederhalter und das Vlies mit einem Laserstrahl durchstrahlt. Anschließend wird die Halteeinrichtung in der Fügezone aufgeschmolzen und die Schmelze durchdringt das Vlies. Bei der Abkühlung entsteht dann eine innige Verbindung zwischen Halteeinrichtung und Vlies.
  • Bei der Windelherstellung wird bspw. für die Folienanlage zunächst eine extrudierte absorbierende Folie für die Außenhaut bereit gestellt. Anschließend wird eine Zwischenlage aus Zellstoff eingelegt und die Vliesbahn als Oberflächenschicht zugeführt. Nach dem Verpressen der Kontur wird mit einem Laserstrahl nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren verschweißt, die Windeln werden zugeschnitten und verpackt.

Claims (15)

1. Verfahren zum Befestigen eines Filtermaterials (2) auf einer Halteeinrichtung (6), gekennzeichnet durch folgende Schritte:
a) Auflegen des Filtermaterials (2) auf die Halteeinrichtung (6);
b) Fixieren des Filtermaterials (2) durch eine Niederhalteeinrichtung (4);
c) Durchstrahlen von Niederhalteeinrichtung (4) und Filtermaterial (2) mit einem Laserstrahl;
d) Aufschmelzen der Halteeinrichtung (6) in der Fügezone (10);
e) Durchdringen des Filtermaterials (2) mit der Schmelze; und
f) Abkühlenlassen der Anordnung.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es sich bei dem Filtermaterial (2) um ein Polymervlies handelt.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es sich bei dem Filtermaterial (2) um ein Polymer auf Basis von Polyestern handelt.
4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Niederhalteeinrichtung (4) IR- transparent ist.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Niederhalteeinrichtung (4) aus Glas besteht.
6. Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Halteeinrichtung (6) aus einem thermoplastischen Material besteht, das das Laserlicht absorbiert.
7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es sich bei der Halteeinrichtung (6) um einen Kunststoffrahmen handelt.
8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das thermoplastische Material einen hohen Absorptionskoeffizienten aufweist.
9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Filtermaterial (2) einen hohen Transmissionsgrad aufweist.
10. Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Halteeinrichtung (6) durch die Laserleistung aufgeschmolzen wird.
11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich das Filtermaterial (2) beim Abkühlen nach dem Aufschmelzen der Halteeinrichtung (6) mit dieser verkrallt.
12. Verfahren nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das absorbierende Material aufgeschäumt wird.
13. Vorrichtung bestehend aus einem auf einer Halteeinrichtung (6) befestigten Filtermaterial (2), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Filtermaterial (2) durch Laserschweißen mit der Halteeinrichtung (6) verbunden ist.
14. Verwendung der Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 13 als Innenraum-, Luft- oder Getriebeölfilter.
15. Verwendung des Verfahrens nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12 zur Herstellung von Hygieneartikeln und Sportbekleidung.
