Description
The invention relates to a method for operating a continuously operating press, which has an upper press plate and a lower press plate as well as endlessly revolving press belts, which are supported on the press plates with the interposition of rolling bars (or rolling rods), which is in the press gap between the revolving Pressing material introduced into press belts is pressed using pressure and heat, the press belts and/or the rolling bars and/or the press plates being supplied with a lubricant. The rolling rods are usually cylindrical, e.g. B. made of steel (with a specified length and specified diameter).
B. an Rollstabketten angeschlossen, z. B. mittels Rollstablagerbolzen. Such a continuous press therefore has an upper press part with the upper (heatable) press plate and a lower press part with a lower (heatable) press plate, whereby inlet plates can optionally be connected to the press plates/heating plates on the inlet side. An endlessly rotating upper press belt is guided in the upper part of the press and an endlessly rotating lower press belt is guided in the lower part of the press, these press belts e.g. B. are designed as steel strips. The rolling rods are at the end z. B. connected to roller bar chains, e.g. B. using rolling bar bearing bolts. The rolling bars or rolling rods therefore form rolling body aggregates between the respective press plate and the endlessly rotating press belt. The required pressing forces are applied using power means, in particular hydraulic pressing cylinders, with which z. B. the upper and / or lower press plates are acted upon and which are located on the press frame, e.g. B. support its press frame.
B. aus Faserverbundwerkstoffen oder dergleichen, oder von Kunststoffplatten oder - mattenSuch a continuously operating press is preferably used for the production of wood-based panels. Wood-based panels mean in particular fiberboard, chipboard or OSB panels. Alternatively, the invention also relates to the production of composite panels or composite components, e.g. B. made of fiber composite materials or the like, or plastic panels or mats
The pressed material (e.g. a pressed material mat) is pressed in the press gap of the continuously operating press between the rotating steel belts or press belts using pressure and heat, so that the pressed material is e.g. B. a plate-shaped product, e.g. B. a wood-based panel is produced. The rolling bars roll on the press plates as rolling element units. Due to usual manufacturing tolerances or minimal deviations of the rolling bar shape from the perfect cylindrical shape, there may be differences in path or length at the two outer ends of the rolling bars during the rolling movement, which are compensated for by micro-slip. Against this background, it is common and necessary in practice to lubricate or oil the rolling rods or their cylindrical surface with a liquid lubricant. Such a liquid lubricant is used in practice e.g. B. sprayed onto the rolling bars using nozzles in the inlet area or in the rolling bar circulation.

As already mentioned, in practice lubrication is carried out with liquid lubricants, in particular oil, which is applied to the press belts and/or the rolling rods. This is intended to keep the friction forces of the rolling bars between press belts and press plates low. These measures have proven themselves in practice, but the use of such lubricants is associated with corresponding operating resource costs. In addition, the range of application of the lubricants is limited in terms of temperature. - This is where the invention comes in.
The invention is based on the object of creating a method with which a continuously operating press can be operated particularly economically and which preferably also enables higher application temperatures.
To solve this problem, the invention teaches a method with the features of
The invention is based on the knowledge that it is advantageous to replace the basically known liquid lubricating oils with solid lubricants, e.g. B. graphite or the like. Such solid lubricants are characterized by good lubricating properties and low costs. In addition, solid lubricants can be used at higher temperatures than, for example, B. Use lubricating oils. In contrast to oil lubrication, solid lubrication is not a consumable lubrication, so that the economic efficiency of the pressing process is increased. However, the invention has recognized that the use of solid lubricants, particularly in the area of the rolling bars of a continuously operating press, can fundamentally have the disadvantage of reduced heat transfer. Because within a continuously operating press, optimal heat transfer from the heated press plates via the rolling bars to the press belts and thus to the material to be pressed is of particular importance. What is fundamentally problematic is the fact that the contact area between the heating plate and the rolling bar on the one hand and between the rolling bar and the press belt on the other hand is small due to the cylindrical geometry with a circular cross section and is theoretically limited to a contact line parallel to the rolling bar axis. In practice, the use of liquid lubricants is therefore particularly important from the perspective of improved heat transfer, because the liquid lubricant forms a “lubricant bed” or a “liquid collection” between the rolling bar and the corresponding counter surface, e.g. B. press belt or heating plate, so that an increased area is made available for heat transfer. This “lubricant bed” of liquid lubricant extends over a certain circumferential area of the rolling rod and thus increases the contact area and consequently the heat transfer. Based on these considerations, the invention has recognized that the formation of such a lubricant bed can also be achieved when using solid lubricants if these solid lubricants are not isolated but are used within a lubricant mixture which, on the one hand, contains the solid lubricant and, on the other hand, a conventional liquid lubricant, e.g. B. has oil. The solid lubricant is used according to the invention because of its particularly good properties and in particular its high cost-effectiveness and higher temperature resistance. In conjunction with the liquid lubricant, improved heat transfer is achieved through the formation of the “lubricant bed” described, so that according to the invention both the advantages of the solid lubricant and the advantages of a liquid lubricant come into play, in a combinatorial manner. The liquid portion also ensures a particularly good distribution of the solid portion and therefore a particularly even application to the surfaces to be lubricated.
The excellent lubricating properties of the solid lubricant not only lead to particularly economical operation, but they also reduce the drive torque of the drives of the continuous press or its press belts and this in turn leads to a reduction in performance and thus also to an economical design of the press and economical operation.
The liquid lubricant within the lubricant mixture is preferably an oil applies. Basically known lubricating oils can be used, which are usually used in continuously operating presses.
A solid lubricant or a dry lubricant with a layered lattice structure is preferably used as the solid lubricant within the lubricant mixture. Graphite is particularly preferably used. Alternatively, molybdenum disulfide (MoS 2 ) can also be used.
The lubricant mixture according to the invention is circulated for lubrication, e.g. B. applied to the roller bars and/or to the press belts and/or to the press plates, e.g. B. with at least one feed device for the lubricant mixture arranged in the area of the roller bar circulation and / or one in the area of the belt circulation. For this purpose, it is possible to use a (ready) premixed lubricant mixture consisting of liquid lubricant on the one hand and solid lubricant on the other, which can be used, for example: B. is applied to the press belts and / or the rolling bars and / or the press plates with at least one feed device. Such a feed device can be, for. B is a spray device, a diving device or the like.
Alternatively, however, it is also possible to apply a solid lubricant separately on the one hand and a liquid lubricant on the other hand using one or more feed devices, so that a lubricant mixture only forms on the press belts and/or the roller bars and/or the press plates during the course of this application. For this purpose, separate feed devices can be used for the liquid lubricant on the one hand and the solid lubricant on the other, which can also be arranged at different locations on the continuous press if necessary. So can e.g. B. in circulation at one location first the liquid lubricant and then the solid lubricant or vice versa first the solid lubricant and then the liquid lubricant are applied to the press belt and / or the rolling bars and / or the press plates.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the lubricant mixture is assembled and applied to the press belts and/or the roller bars and/or the press plates in such a way that lubrication with the lubricant mixture of both liquid lubricant and solid lubricant takes place in a first press section assigned to the press inlet and In an adjoining second press section, lubrication takes place with only the solid lubricant. The invention is based on the knowledge that, as a rule, a particularly high heat input is desired in a first press section of a continuous press, so that in this first press section a particularly high heat transfer from the heated press plates via the rolling bars to the press belt and thus to the material to be pressed must be carried out. For the reasons explained, this works particularly well with the lubricant mixture according to the invention, which not only contains the solid lubricant, but also (to a certain extent) a liquid lubricant, so that a lubricant bed or a liquid accumulation forms in the sliding friction area of the rolling rod and thus the heat transfer from the Heating plate on the press belt improved. In this case, the method is specifically carried out in such a way that the proportion of liquid lubricant is consumed in this first press section, so that pure or essentially pure dry lubrication, e.g. B. Graphite lubrication is realized because less heat transfer is required in this second press section. In this second press section, the liquid lubricant portion is therefore dispensed with, so that overall the largest possible dry lubricant portion is achieved, with the described advantages of the solid lubricant over the liquid lubricant.
In this embodiment of the invention, it is generally possible to work with a prefabricated lubricant mixture, which is composed and dosed in such a way that the liquid portion is consumed in the first press section and only the solid lubricant portion is used in the second press section.
In an alternative embodiment, however, a targeted and very variable adjustment of the mixing ratio can also be realized by separate feed devices for the liquid lubricant on the one hand and the solid lubricant on the other, whereby these feed devices can also be arranged at different locations in the press circulation if necessary.
Another aspect of the invention relates to the cleaning of the press belts and/or the heating plates and/or the rolling bars. It is also possible to add additional liquid lubricant in doses, e.g. B. Add oil in order to be able to better remove the resulting solid-liquid mixture from the belt, e.g. B. by stripping. This additional addition of liquid lubricant is particularly advantageous if only dry lubricant is used in the second press section.
Additionally or alternatively, there is the possibility that the lubricant mixture is applied to and/or distributed on the press belts and/or the press plates using a mobile transport element. Such a mobile transport element can z. B can be guided with the roller rods between the press plate and the press belt. This can be e.g. B around a distribution block, e.g. B. act a block of leather or something similar. Such a transport element can z. B are carried or transported by the chain that guides the rolling rods. With the help of such an element, e.g. B an equalization of the lubricant input over the entire length of the press. Since solid lubrication takes place via the solid content, which is not consumable lubrication, it is not absolutely necessary according to the invention to supply lubricant continuously during operation, but it may be sufficient to circulate the solid lubricant in the intended amount at a certain point in time to introduce.
In a particularly preferred development of the invention, it is proposed that the application quantity of the lubricant mixture is controlled or regulated depending on the operation or condition of the press, in particular on the operation or condition of the press drive, e.g. B depending on the drive torque or the power consumption of the drive. The drive torque can be z. B is determined by the current or power consumption or is represented by it. Overall, according to the invention, the application of the lubricant mixture can be adapted particularly economically to the respective requirements and operation, so that particularly economical operation of the press is possible.
Regardless of the possibility of lubrication depending on certain conditions of the press, it is possible to provide relubrication at certain time intervals, which are, however, much larger than with conventional liquid lubrication.
It is optionally possible to preheat the lubricant mixture, i.e. H. to heat before the lubricant mixture is introduced into circulation or applied to the respective friction surface. Such preheating can positively influence the lubricant distribution and/or the adhesion of the solid lubricant to the surfaces to be lubricated.
The subject of the invention is not only a method, but also a continuous press according to
The feed device can be arranged in the area of the roller bar circulation and designed for application to the roller bars. Alternatively, the feed device can be arranged in the area of the belt circulation and designed for application to the press belt (namely on the inner side of the press belt facing the rolling rods). These embodiments can also be combined with one another.
The feed device can be designed as a spray device or as a dipping device. In addition, a measuring device is preferably provided with which the application quantity can be measured. Furthermore, the press is characterized by a control or regulating device with which the feed device can be controlled or regulated, e.g. B depending on an operating parameter of the press or on measured values that relate to the application of lubricant or an applied layer of lubricant.
The feed device is preferably designed for the supply of a (prefabricated) lubricant mixture or for the application of a lubricant mixture mixed in the feed device. Consequently, either a prefabricated lubricant mixture can be provided or such a mixture can be created and applied from the liquid component and the solid component in the feed device, e.g. B can be sprayed on.
Alternatively, however, it is also possible to work with several feed devices for a solid lubricant on the one hand and a liquid lubricant on the other, or to provide a feed device which has, on the one hand, a component for applying the solid lubricant and, on the other hand, a component for applying the liquid lubricant, so that Only in the course of this order or after the order does a lubricant mixture form on the press belts and/or the roller bars and/or the press plates.
