Durch die Auffaltungen wird die Laufschiene verwindungssteifer, so dass die Laufbahnen insbesondere bei langen Laufwagen stabilisiert werden. Der durch die Auffaltungen verbreiterte Rücken der Laufschiene hintergreift entsprechende Nuten der Ausnehmung, so dass die Laufschiene fest und formschlüssig mit dem Tragkörper verbunden ist.
