The invention relates to a device for adjusting the position of a door hinge of a door

From the DE 10 2007 058 690 A1 a device and a method for adjusting a door of a domestic appliance is known. In addition, from the U.S. 2,757,663 A a household appliance with a pivoting door is known. Corresponding is off U.S. 3,132,640A and the U.S. 8,710,409 B2 known.

Cooking devices are known in a wide variety of configurations. They can have a door for closing off a cooking chamber, which is hinged at the bottom and can be pivoted about a horizontal axis, or have a door which is hinged on the side and can be pivoted about a vertical axis. Such folding doors are usually attached to a housing of the cooking appliance with hinges. With built-in appliances that are arranged in a recess of built-in furniture, it is relatively complicated with conventional cooking appliances to straighten a door that has been displaced and therefore crookedly and adjust it accordingly. The production of parallelism between the strips of the cooking appliance or a switch panel and the door is therefore complex. For this it is usually necessary to pull the cooking appliance out of the built-in furniture in order to be able to adjust the door. On the one hand, this is complex, since assembly customer service is usually required, and on the other hand it is also cost-intensive.

It is an object of the present invention to create a device for adjusting the position of a door hinge of a household appliance, such a household appliance with a device and a method for adjusting the position of a door hinge, with which the adjustment is more user-friendly and requires less effort can be done.

This object is achieved by a device, a household appliance and by a method according to the independent claims.

A device according to the invention for adjusting the position of a door hinge of a door of a household appliance comprises a guide device in which the door hinge can be displaced. The device also includes a displacement element which has a spiral-shaped displacement path. The spiral displacement path is coupled to the door hinge, the position of this door hinge being adjustable and correspondingly displaceable depending on a movement of the displacement element and thus also of the spiral displacement path relative to the door hinge. A very quick and yet extremely precise position adjustment of a door hinge is thus achieved by means of a relatively simple construction which is easy to handle and user-friendly. The accuracy of the setting is improved because in particular the cooking appliance no longer has to be pulled out of a built-in piece of furniture or its position fundamentally has to be changed. The position can also be adjusted by the user himself and it is no longer necessary to call in a specialist fitter. In addition, the setting is also easier during assembly, since the cooking appliance is accessible from the front for setting the position of the door hinge and the device can be actuated from the front.

Provision is preferably made for the displacement element to be in the form of a cylindrical disk. As a result, on the one hand, it is designed to be very space-saving as a whole, and the design of the spiral-shaped displacement path can thus be implemented in a very space-saving manner.

Provision is preferably made for the displacement element to be rotatable about an axis. The mobility of the displacement element is thus a specified rotational movement. In particular, the displacement element is thus arranged in a stationary manner and only performs the rotational movement about this axis. For this purpose, it is designed in an extremely small space requirement with regard to its mobility.

Provision is preferably made for this axis, about which the displacement element can rotate, to be oriented perpendicularly to the possible displacement path of the door hinge. In a coupling that should be particularly emphasized, the displacement of the door hinge can thus be achieved by a simple rotation, in which the displacement element is not displaced in any other way. The door hinge can thus be moved back and forth, in particular linearly, in the simplest way by rotating the displacement element precisely through the spiral-shaped displacement path. It is a particularly simple, smooth-running and robust movement and coupling concept.

Provision is preferably made for the guide device of the device to be designed in such a way that the door hinge can only be displaced linearly. As a result, a movement sequence can be created which is significantly reduced in complexity and achieves a very precise tilting movement of the door fastened with two hinges.

Provision is preferably made for a coupling pin to be arranged on the door hinge, which engages in the sliding track. This ensures a very reliable and permanent coupling, so that it is also prevented that the Coupling between the sliding track and the door hinge solves. The design and shape of the coupling pin is also designed in such a way that the coupling pin can be moved without jerking and as smoothly as possible relative to the displacement path when the displacement elements are moving. On the one hand, the position can be adjusted very precisely, and on the other hand, the wear on the coupled elements is minimized.

Provision is preferably made for the displacement element to have a coupling point for a tool for moving the displacement element. This is particularly advantageous in that it also enables the displacement element to be moved very precisely over short distances.

Provision is preferably made for the coupling point to be accessible from the front. Such a design makes it particularly easy to carry out a position adjustment. Because the position of the device no longer has to be changed in order to be able to carry out the position adjustment. Particularly in the case of a household appliance arranged in a built-in piece of furniture, it is therefore no longer necessary to first pull it out of the built-in piece of furniture in order to then be able to adjust the position.

Provision is preferably made for the device to have a position fixing device, via which the door hinge can be fixed in its set position relative to the guide device.

The position of the door hinge obtained by adjusting the position can thus also be maintained permanently by locking the position fixing device.

It is preferably provided that the position fixing device comprises a fixing screw. This makes it particularly easy and smooth to also fix the set position of the door hinge. In addition, this fixing screw is also accessible in particular from the front, so that simple coupling can also be achieved here with a tool, without the position of the household appliance having to be changed.

Furthermore, the invention relates to a household appliance with a door and a device according to the invention and an advantageous embodiment thereof. The household appliance is in particular a cooking appliance. It is advantageously provided that the door of the household appliance is hinged on the side and can therefore be pivoted about a vertical axis.

The invention also relates to a method for adjusting the position of a door hinge of a door of a household appliance, in which the door hinge is slidably arranged in a guide device of a device for position adjustment, and the door hinge is coupled to a spiral displacement path of a displacement moment of the device for position adjustment. Depending on a movement of the spiral displacement path caused by the movement of the displacement element relative to the door hinge, the door hinge is displaced.

Advantageous embodiments of the device according to the invention are to be regarded as advantageous refinements of the method according to the invention, with the physical features of the device for carrying out the respective adjustment steps being designed for this purpose.

In 1 a household appliance shown as a cooking appliance 1 is shown. The cooking appliance 1 comprises a cooking space 2, which is separated by the walls of a muffle 3 is limited. A loading opening is formed at the front, which can be closed by a door 4 . In the exemplary embodiment, the door 4 is hinged at the side and can therefore be pivoted about a vertical axis A.

In 2 is a front view of the cooking device according to FIG 1 shown. The cooking appliance 1 can be an oven or a microwave cooking appliance. As shown in the illustration in 2 can be seen, the cooking appliance 1 comprises an upper hinge 5 and a lower hinge 6. These two hinges 5 and 6 are used to attach the door 4 to a housing 7 ( 1 ) of the cooking appliance 1 struck.

In the exemplary embodiment, the upper hinge 5 is stationary and cannot be displaced with respect to the housing 7 . In contrast, however, provision is made for the lower hinge 6 to be displaceable back and forth in a linear horizontal direction according to the arrow P1. This configuration enables the door 4 to be tilted in the direction of the arrow P2 by moving the lower hinge 6 . This allows the position of the door 4 to be adjusted relative to the housing 7 of the cooking appliance 1 . In particular, a position setting relative to the edges of built-in furniture, in which the cooking appliance 1 can be built, can then also be achieved. For this it is no longer necessary for the cooking appliance 1 to be at least partially pulled out of this built-in piece of furniture in order to be able to carry out such a position adjustment.

For this position setting, the cooking appliance 1 includes a device 8, as is illustrated in the following 2 until 6 is explained in more detail.

The device 8 is arranged on the housing 7, which can have a strip 9, for example. For this purpose it is provided that the device 8 has a rail-like guide device 10 . This can be formed integrally in the strip 9. Due to this guide device 10, according to the enlarged partial representation in 3 (showing a front view) the linear displacement is guided in the direction of the arrow P1.

The device 8 also includes a displacement element 11, which is a flat cylinder in the exemplary embodiment. This displacement element 11 is arranged in a non-displaceable manner on the strip 9 in the area of the guide device 10 . It is arranged between two guide elements 10a and 10b of the guide device 10 . It is rotatably mounted there on this bar 9 .

In addition, a position fixing device 12 is formed, which includes a fixing screw 13 . A set relative position between the door hinge 6 and the strip 9 and thus also the housing 7 can be fixed in position by means of this fixing screw 13 . In 4 is the component representation according to 3 shown in a further different perspective view. The displacement element 11 can be rotated about the B axis. This axis B is perpendicular to the linear horizontal displacement path of the door hinge 6 according to the arrow P1.

As shown in the illustration in 5 can be seen, which shows a rear view of the components and thus represents a view from the cooking chamber 2 to the outside, the displacement element 11 has a spiral displacement path 14 on its rear side. As can also be seen, the door hinge 6 is coupled to this displacement element 11 . For this purpose, a coupling pin 15 engages in the spiral displacement track 14 .

Both the fixing screw 13 and the displacement element 11 are accessible from the front, with the displacement element 11 having a coupling point 16 for this purpose. A tool can be coupled into this and the displacement element 11 can thereby also be rotated about its axis B by actuating the tool. Since the coupling pin 15 engages and is arranged in this spiral-shaped displacement track 14 , rotating the displacement element 11 causes a relative movement between the displacement element 11 and thus also the displacement track 14 fixed thereon to this coupling pin 15 . As a result of the spiral shape, the hinge 6 is moved in the linear direction along the arrow P1 and a horizontal displacement is thus achieved. As already mentioned, the desired position of the door hinge 6 that has been reached can then be locked and fixed by tightening the fixing screw 13 .
