Die Längsträgerelemente sind über einen jeweiligen vorderen und hinteren Teil der Längsträgerelemente durch zwei zumindest im Wesentlichen in Fahrzeugquerrichtung verlaufende und in Fahrzeuglängsrichtung voneinander beabstandete Querträgerelemente miteinander verbunden. Zudem weisen die Längsträgerelemente jeweilige mittlere Teile auf, in welchen jeweils ein Deformationselement vorgesehen ist. Gleichzeitig ist es möglich, den Hilfsrahmen besonders leicht hinsichtlich seines Gewichts auszugestalten, was das Gewicht des gesamten Kraftwagens gering hält. Damit einher geht ein geringer Energieverbrauch zum Betreiben des Kraftwagens, woraus beispielsweise ein geringer Kraftstoffverbrauch sowie geringe CO2-Emissionen resultieren. Darüber hinaus weist der Hilfsrahmen ein besonders vorteilhaftes Unfallverhalten bei einer unfallbedingten Kraftbeaufschlagung des Hilfsrahmens auf. Bei einer solchen unfallbedingten Kraftbeaufschlagung können die jeweiligen Deformationselemente Aufprallenergie besonders effizient aufnehmen und in Verformungsenergie umwandeln.
