Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for cleaning glass surfaces.
Glass surfaces are usually coated after or during production to give the glass surface additional desirable properties. However, in order to perform a flawless coating, the surface must be free of foreign bodies. On the one hand, such unwanted impurities of the glass surface can generally not be completely prevented, on the other hand it is sometimes necessary for better handling to provide the glass surface with foreign bodies after production. Flat glasses are stacked after production to temporarily store the glasses before further processing. Since such flat glasses are particularly flat and therefore large surface forces can be built between the glass plates, it is difficult to separate two stacked flat glass again. In order to facilitate this separation, the glass surfaces are dusted with separating powder before stacking, thus reducing the contact points between the surfaces and reducing the forces between the surfaces. However, this release powder must be carefully removed before the coating process, so that no coating defects arise.
It is therefore necessary to clean these glass surfaces before further processing of the glass surfaces.
For this cleaning washing systems are used in the prior art. In such washing systems, the glass surface is rinsed with demineralized water and cleaned on both sides with rotating brushes with further rinsing. Blowers blow the surfaces dry. Such washing systems often have a length of up to 10 m and an energy requirement that is well above 40 kW.
The object of the invention is to provide an improved cleaning of glass panes, in particular cleaning with a lower energy consumption and / or less space required.
This object is achieved by a method according to the independent
In particular, the object is achieved by a method for cleaning glass surfaces, wherein the glass surface is transported relative to a cleaning device which moves a moistened microfiber cleaning surface over the glass surface. Subsequently, in the direction of movement of the glass surface, a second microfiber cleaning surface is moved over the glass surface, thereby drying the glass surface.
In this case, glass surfaces are also understood to mean surfaces which do not consist solely of glass, but entirely or partially of silicon, metal and / or the like.
By microfiber here is meant a fiber below 1.0 dtex, in particular below 0.7 dtex, preferably between 0.7 and 0.5 dtex. Also, the term microfibers may include fibers below 0.3 dtex. Such fibers may be made of polyester, polyacrylic, polyamide and / or cellulose. Particularly preferred is a mixture of polyester and polyamide.
The use of microfibers to clean surfaces also removes foreign bodies from fats, oils or similar viscous materials from the surface. This is difficult or impossible with brushes. Further, the use of microfibers allows less consumption of cleaning fluid, such as demineralized water, because of the fine structures of the microfibers, the textile has a large surface area and high capillary forces, which can be easily detached from the surface of the smallest foreign bodies and / or liquids be included in the microfiber cleaning surface.
In this case, the microfiber cleaning surface comprises a microfiber textile which consists predominantly or exclusively of microfibers or has a multiplicity of microfibers on its surface. This textile may in particular be a nonwoven, a knitted fabric and / or a knitted fabric.
During the process, the glass surface is in particular moved relative to the cleaning device, for example on a roller conveyor or by means of drive or support rollers, so that a continuous cleaning process can be carried out. In particular, a part of the glass surface is already dried by the second microfiber cleaning surface, while a subsequent part of the glass surface is wetted only by the first microfiber cleaning surface with the cleaning liquid. It is also possible to continuously clean several glass sheets in succession.
In particular, the first and / or the second microfiber cleaning surface is moved relative to the cleaning device just above the glass surfaces. Thus, the microfiber cleaning surface can be moved transversely, in particular perpendicular to the direction of movement of the glass surface. The microfiber cleaning surface can extend over the entire width of the surface to be cleaned and thus simultaneously clean the glass surface over the entire width. Although it is possible for the second microfiber cleaning surface to be moved by the first cleaning device, it is preferable for the second microfiber cleaning surface to be disposed on a second wiping element which is moved by a second cleaning device. Also, a plurality, so more than two, successively arranged cleaning devices are possible to obtain an improved cleaning performance.
The cleaning devices preferably each have one or more wiper elements with a closed, belt-like shape. A closed mold here means that the wiping elements have no beginning or end piece, but can be stretched like a belt by means of two or more rollers and thus form a circumferential cleaning surface. In this case, the wiping elements can rotate in the same or opposite direction.
Preferably, the wiping element forms at least two strands, wherein the two strands are guided approximately parallel to the surface to be cleaned. The one, in particular lower strand touches the surface to be cleaned with the microfiber cleaning surface.
Preferably, the microfiber cleaning surfaces are arranged at least on the outside of the belt-shaped wiper element, so that the microfiber cleaning surface is moved continuously on the glass surface by the wiper element and so an uninterrupted cleaning can be made.
The first microfiber cleaning surface first arranged in the course of the process can be moistened by a moistening device. Such a humidifying device may consist of a liquid supply connected to a pump and a liquid outlet near the microfiber cleaning surface. By such a humidifying device cleaning liquid, such as demineralized water and / or alcohol or similar substances can be added to the microfiber cleaning surface. In particular, demineralized water dissolves foreign matter, such as organic matter, for example, oil and grease, from the surface of the glass sheet, which is subsequently taken up by the microfiber cleaning surface along with the water.
Subsequent to the first cleaning device, a second cleaning device can be placed, which has a second microfiber cleaning surface. This microfiber cleaning surface serves in particular for receiving the cleaning liquid and the foreign bodies dissolved therein, but also for the smallest particles and liquid or viscous foreign bodies from the glass surface.
In particular, the second microfiber cleaning surface is dried by a heater, wherein the heating is arranged on the strand spaced from the glass surface, preferably the upper strand. The heater can be controlled by a humidity sensor that measures the humidity of the microfiber cleaning surface and activates the heater depending on this reading. The heater can have one or more current-carrying conductors as a heat source, but also infrared sources, which are directed to the microfiber cleaning surface to be dried or with hot fluids, such as water or air, flowed through lines.
Before and / or after the cleaning of the surface by the microfiber cleaning surface, the glass surface can be freed from foreign bodies by means of brushes. These brushes may in particular be linear brushes, ie brushes which comprise a belt-like brushing element, on the outside of which the filaments are applied. By means of brushes larger foreign body z. As well as those that do not dissolve in demineralized water, be removed before cleaning with the microfiber cleaning surface of the glass surface. Extractors are preferably attached to the side of the glass surface by means of which excess liquids, loose foreign bodies and the like are sucked off. These exhausts are especially before cleaning with the microfiber cleaning surfaces and / or after cleaning with the microfiber cleaning surfaces.
It is also possible to arrange one or more further cleaning devices on the opposite side of the glass so as to allow the simultaneous cleaning of both surfaces of the glass pane.
Dabei zeigtFurthermore, the invention will be described with reference to the embodiments with the aid of the drawings. It shows
