The The invention relates to an electrostatic precipitator, in particular for an exhaust pipe of an emission control system, according to the preamble of claim 1.

Gerade die relativ hohe Emission an Feinstaub als ein Schadstoffanteil ist bei Biomasse-Heizungsanlagen ein Problem.by virtue of emissions from heating systems and global efforts, reduce such emissions - see for example the Kyoto agreement - will be appropriate for heating systems Emission control systems used. These are in particular the filter out harmful substances and particles from exhaust gases, so that the remaining, purified exhaust gas without hesitation to the environment can be delivered. In particular, such exhaust gas purification systems used in biomass heating systems, where in addition to otherwise economic and environmental benefits an increased emission may occur in pollutants in the exhaust gases. Especially the relative high emission of particulate matter as a pollutant is in biomass heating systems a problem.

One Such electrostatic filter with spray electrode and collector electrode is also known as an electrostatic precipitator. This becomes the Exhaust gas cleaning used in an exhaust pipe of a heating system. It is through the spray, which is approximately in the middle through the exhaust pipe and therefore also as a center electrode is designated, and a surrounding lateral surface of the exhaust pipe a capacitor formed in a cylindrical tube Design of the exhaust pipe also referred to as a cylinder capacitor becomes. The spray or center electrode usually has a circular cross-section in the flow direction of the exhaust gas, wherein the diameter of the cross section or also the radius of curvature is generally made relatively small is (for example, less than 0.4 mm). To now the pollutants, more precisely the non-polluting particles, the exhaust gas from the Exhaust gas flow is separated by the center electrode and the a collector electrode formed by the lateral surface transverse to the flow direction field with field lines formed from the center electrode to the collector electrode. For this a high voltage is applied to the center electrode, for example in the range of 15 kV. This forms a corona discharge through which the gases flowing through the field in the exhaust gas Particles are charged unipolar. Hike due to this charge most of the particles by the electrostatic Coulomb forces to the inner wall of the exhaust pipe, which serves as a collector electrode.
bipolar geladene Partikel. Mittels Boltzmann-Verteilung kann der
Anteil einfach bzw. mehrfach geladener Partikel abgeschätzt
in Richtung Abgasrohrinnenseite strömen. Die positiven
Partikel strömen dagegen auf die Elektrode zu. Hiervon
Zudem existiert in unmittelbarer Nähe
und lagert sich ebenfalls dort ab.As mentioned above, the particles are electrostatically charged by the corona discharge which forms along the surface of the electrode. This is done at the molecular level by the following process: Is the electrode z. B. compared to the exhaust pipe to negative high voltage, so a large number of gas molecules is negatively charged. They move in the electric field applied by the electrode and the exhaust pipe in the direction of the exhaust pipe. If these meet on their way through the exhaust pipe to electrically neutral particles, they stick to these and charge the previously neutral particles also negative. The charged particles flow driven by electrostatic deflection forces to the inner wall of the exhaust pipe. Here the particles stick, lose their charge and are safely removed from the exhaust stream. This is the core process of an electrostatic precipitator and, depending on the geometry, height of the corona current, electrode shape, etc., leads to deposition rates of up to more than 90%. This core process can be disturbed by the following effects:
Burning produces bipolar charged particles. By means of Boltzmann distribution, the proportion of single or multiply charged particles can be estimated. The distribution is symmetrical, ie, there are the same number of positive and negative charged particles. For conditions such as those present in the exhaust gas of biomass heating systems, between 15 and 20% of the particles carry an elementary electric charge. Although the number of charged particles is reduced by approx. 10% per second due to coagulation, there are still more than 10% charged particles at the electrostatic precipitator (corresponding to approximately one to two seconds of particle flight time from the place of combustion). Now get the charged particles in the vicinity of the lying on negative high voltage electrode of the charger (unit exhaust pipe, electrode), so the negative particles are flowing away from the electrode towards the exhaust pipe inside. The positive particles, on the other hand, flow towards the electrode. This will be part of Flow through the charger neutralized or negatively reloaded, the rest of the particles but passes to the electrode and deposits there. Over the service life it comes therefore to function restrictions of the electrostatic deflector. Because the fine dust deposited on the electrode locally prevents the formation of the corona. As a result, the electrical charge of the particles deteriorates. The deposition efficiency of the system is degraded. In addition, in the immediate vicinity of the corona (within a radius of a few millimeters around the electrode) there is a bipolar charge area. Electrically neutral particles which flow through this area can also be positively charged by a negative electrode. They then flow to the electrode. One part is neutralized or negatively charged by the corona, but a small remainder reaches the electrode and also deposits there.
Dadurch sinkt die Aufladeeffizienz der Elektrode, was wiederum die Abscheideleistung des gesamten Systems verringert.adversely on the electrostatic precipitators according to the The state of the art is that after a longer period of operation to a continuous degradation of the corona current at a constant high voltage comes. This reduces the charging efficiency of the electrode, which in turn reduces the separation efficiency of the entire system.
Of the Invention is based on the object, an electrostatic precipitator to overcome this disadvantage and the particular one Prevents or reduces the deposition of particles on the electrode to increase the service life of the electrostatic precipitator.
Further the invention has the object, a heating system with to provide a separator according to the invention, which guarantees reliable exhaust gas purification.
According to the invention this by the objects with the features of claim 1 and of claim 9 solved. Advantageous developments are to be taken from the subclaims.

The Heating system according to the invention for generating of energy by burning an energy source As biomass is characterized by the fact that this is a fine dust emitting heating system such as a biomass heating system for Burning of the energy carrier, wherein particle-containing Exhaust gases arise, and an inventive electrostatic Separator is provided.
Mit
dem erfindungsgemäßen elektrostatischen Abscheider
und dem erfindungsgemäßen Heizungssystem werden
insbesondere die folgenden Vorteile realisiert:
Eine Vermeidung
bzw. Reduzierung von Feinstaubablagerungen auf der Elektrode wird
realisiert.
With the electrostatic precipitator according to the invention and the heating system according to the invention, the following advantages are realized in particular:
An avoidance or reduction of fine dust deposits on the electrode is realized. The system can be relieved of fine dust deposits reliably by moving the Partikelabweisemittel relative to the channel wall along the channel wall.
By the thermally induced movement of the bimetal becomes a snapping or striking motion realized, in particular by a corresponding Prescoring the bimetal or bimetallic strip achieved becomes. Due to the impression remains when heated First, the shape of the bimetal is constant until the heat energy sufficient to the inhibited by stamping deformation to initiate (cracking-frog effect). The subsequent movement points then a high acceleration, which helps to remove particles is being used. Conversely, it will turn off even after cooling down the heating system by skipping the pre-stamping triggered a snapping motion. This can be, for example by a convex / concave embossing of a bimetallic disc be achieved. When heating or switching off the oven goes through the bimetal the temperature range of the snapping deformation. In one embodiment is a series of knockouts provided for the Partikelabweisemittel, which then for Example zigzag are formed. At every start and stopping of the oven will be the easily adhering fine dust from the Channel wall shaken off. The imprint is dimension so that there is always a corresponding distance to the surrounding stovepipe is maintained. Next is in one embodiment provided that the deformation of the bimetal advantageously a kind Hammerwork operated, which the channel wall at power or turning off the stove once strike and dust deposits freed. For easier removal of adhering dirt is in one embodiment alternatively or additionally the channel wall or the particle repellent with an anti-adhesive layer provided, z. B. with polyorganosiloxanes, polysiloxanes, hybrid materials from inorganic and organic polymers as well as coating materials, which contain non-stick particles. An appropriate doping the silicon-oxygen compound ensures one for the Use as a spray electrode sufficiently high electrical Conductivity or plasma resistance. By the mechanical cleaning by at least one bimetal can Periodically shake off the dust deposits on the sewer wall become. This option does not consume extra energy because the bimetal by turning on or off the furnace generated temperature change is activated.
Becomes made of electrode, electrode feed and possibly insulation installed charging unit installed behind the heating system, can be due to the hot exhaust temperatures between 200 ° C (wood pellet heating systems) and 400 ° C (Firewood systems). In addition, the emitted dust particles exist (especially in the case of burning firewood) from a large Proportion of carbon and are therefore combustible. Under these conditions lies it suggests, the thermal oxidation as a regeneration mechanism of To provide a charger. This burn is according to a another embodiment by a suitable coating the inner wall of the charger supports catalytically. This would be in a lower ignition temperature of soot (without catalytic support only at about 600 ° C). If the catalytic effect of Coating is insufficient, could be the thermal burnup the dust deposits are ignited externally, z. B. with a mounted on the exhaust pipe heating coil. Here, however, must by suitable Measures (eg temperature-controlled exhaust flaps) controlled Rußabbrand be ensured. Otherwise, the exhaust system could be thermally overloaded become.
