Description

The invention relates to a decorative trim part according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such decorative trim parts are preferably used as decorative parts in land, air or water vehicles. They serve partly for the decorative design of the interior and also as decorative trim parts, which can be equipped with various functional elements, such as light diodes. The decorative parts themselves can also have a function, such as a handle, lid or the like.

It is known that interior decoration parts for automobiles or the like consist of a decorative material in combination with a carrier material, the decorative material having a uniform surface, such as. B. made of metal, plastic, wood or the like.

However, such decorative parts are not limited exclusively to use for automobiles or the like. Rather, such decorative or decorative parts are also used for other consumer goods.

The visible surface of a decorative / decorative part is preferably formed from a metal, plastic, veneer or the like with a relatively small thickness, the surfaces with various decoration techniques, such as. B. painting, brushing, printing, lamination can be designed.

Such decorative / decorative parts are usually connected to a carrier material made of plastic, in rare cases made of metal or other materials.

The connection is made by purely mechanical connection, such as. B. by flanging or by adhesive connection by means of gluing or bonding agents.

Such a decorative / decorative part is based on the invention that goes back to the same applicant EP 1 344 687 A2 disclosed, wherein here the decorative / decorative part essentially consists of a carrier part made of plastic with a decorative plate made of thin metal attached to it, the finished decorative plate being placed in an injection mold and with an injection molding compound on the back to produce the decorative / decorative part is injection-molded, wherein the decorative / decorative part has recesses or breakthroughs, which are at least partially penetrated by the injection molding compound.

However, this invention has the disadvantage that the prefabricated and finished decorative plate of the decorative / decorative part is back-injected with an injection molding compound (carrier material) and forms a permanent connection.

Subsequent replacement of the decorative panel connected to the carrier material cannot therefore be carried out, for example in the event of a color or design change.

An exchange of the complete decorative / decorative part (decorative plate and carrier material) thus causes correspondingly high costs if, for example, an exchange of the decorative / decorative part should be necessary due to a design change or a defect. In addition, the design and the coloring of the surface are uniform over the entire surface, so that different types of surface designs, materials and colors cannot be implemented for this decorative / decorative part.

The DE 197 18 128 A1 and the DE 198 45 100 A1 each show a decorative laminate panel with a multi-part surface, the panel having a visible decorative panel, which has a decorative design on its surface and is formed from two individual decorative materials, the decorative materials having recesses, openings and / or elevations that engage with one another .

The laminate panels disclosed in here, however, only have a flat surface without any particular haptic properties. With interior decoration parts for cars in particular, however, the user wants an individual design that is pleasant to the touch.

It is true that the use of a plate and a plurality of recesses extending through the plate, as well as nub-like elastomer elements filling the recesses from the DE 199 38 184 A1 known, but this is a floor covering or a wall covering and not a decorative trim part for a vehicle.

A layer structure of individual, interlocking materials is also known from other areas. So shows JP H01 222944 A a metal layer, the elevation of which engages in recesses of a layer laid over it, but this is not a decorative layer for a vehicle.

The US 2003/022780 A1 shows a license plate, consisting of a layer structure of two plates, a cover plate having a plurality of recesses into which the elevations of a second, underlying plate fit are. Since the second plate is made of a translucent material, light can be emitted from the underside of the license plate to the visible side of the license plate in order to make the characters on the license plate visible. However, this is only a license plate and not a decorative part that is inextricably linked to a surface.

Although there is a permanent connection, for example to protect against theft of the license plate, from the EP 0 277 523 A2 and the DE 41 05 172 A1 known, but this is also not a decorative part.

The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a decorative / decorative part according to the prior art in such a way that a decorative panel is formed from several different decorative materials with different decorative surfaces which mutually penetrate one another.

To solve the problem, the invention is characterized in that the decorative plate of the decorative / decorative part is formed from at least two individual decorative materials, the decorative materials having recesses, breakthroughs and / or elevations which engage with one another and the decorative plate is detachable or non-detachable is connected to a carrier material (not shown).

With the given technical teaching, there is now the essential advantage that, from the viewer's point of view, the decorative panel has a variety of designs, patterns and colors due to the different combination of materials and, moreover, allows the decorative panel to be replaced.

The decorative surface has at least two differently decorated materials or types of material which mutually penetrate one another by means of the raised areas on the surface of the first decorative material in the aforementioned recesses or openings on the surface of the second decorative material.

Such combinations of materials for the formation of a multilayer decorative panel of a decorative / decorative part are z. B. the combination of different metal materials, the combination of metal and plastic, the combination of metal and elastomers, the combination of metal and leather, the combination of metal and wood.

For a better understanding of the invention, the formation of a decorative plate is described here with the aid of the following exemplary embodiments consisting of two decorative materials, the formation of a decorative plate with more than two decorative materials being included in the scope of protection of the invention.

The mutual penetration of the two decorative materials can be in a raised, flush or recessed arrangement of the elevations, only the recessed arrangement of the elevation being covered by the invention.

For an improved hold of the two decorative materials joined together, these are, for example, by permanent joining processes, such as. B. connected to one another by gluing, laminating or the like.

Due to the complete, partial or no penetration of the two decorative materials, arrangements are created which have a flush surface, a surface with depressions or a surface with elevations of the decorative / decorative part. Here, however, only the partial penetration is covered by the invention, which has an arrangement with depressions in the decorative / decorative part.

If a subsequent exchange or change of the decorative plate of the decorative / decorative part is provided, the one mechanical connection to the carrier material, such as, for example, flanging, can be carried out.

In addition, no additional barrier layers are used between the individual decorative materials, the penetration of a first decorative material with a second decorative material being controlled only via the arrangement of the shaping tools, injection molding tools or devices.

After joining the two individual decorative materials using the above-described joining techniques, the decorative panel is connected to the carrier material, the connection being implemented as a mechanical connection (flanging), an adhesive connection (gluing) or an injection molding connection (injection molding with injection molding compound).

Due to the previously completed decorative panel, the decorative trim part is completed after a carrier material has been attached and does not require any further post-processing.

However, it is entirely possible that the surface of the visible decorative material can be processed after the decorative trim part has been completed.
