Zur Förderung von lockeren Schüttgütern, wie z.B. Sand, Kies, Kohle, Ton, Erdboden, Schotter usw., werden im allgemeinen Gabeln oder Schaufeln verwendet, um diese Güter auf Förderbänder zu schütten oder Wagen beliebiger Art zu entleeren oder zu beladen. Zu diesem Zweck muß das Schüttgut auf eine Gabel oder Schaufel gefüllt, angehoben und getragen werden.
