Die Klassifikation stuft dabei eine Fahrsituation mindestens als kritisch oder unkritisch ein, wobei bei einer als unkritisch eingestuften Fahrsituation die akustischen Informationen der elektrischen Komponente Autotelefon und/oder Radio ausgegeben werden und bei einer als kritisch eingestuften Fahrsituation die akustischen Informationen der elektrischen Komponente verzögert, zwischengespeichert oder unterdrückt werden. Dadurch wird gewährleistet, dass der Kraftfahrzeugführer in Situationen großer Konzentration wie beispielsweise sehr schnelle Autobahnfahrten, starke Bremsvorgänge oder zu dichtes Auffahren des rückwärtigen Verkehrs bzw. zu dichtes Auffahren auf ein vorausfahrendes Kraftfahrzeug nicht kurzzeitig mit fatalen Folgen abgelenkt wird.
