Abstract

Panzerplatte, umfassend
eine kontinuierliche, gepanzerte Aufschlagfläche, die innerhalb einer Peripherie definiert ist, hergestellt aus einem Verbundmaterial, das eine Mehrzahl von Panzerkacheln umfasst, die in eine Polymer-Matrix eingebettet sind, die durch eine Schicht eines Faserstoffes strukturell verstärkt ist.

Claims (10)

  1. Panzerplatte, umfassend eine kontinuierliche, gepanzerte Aufschlagfläche, die innerhalb einer Peripherie definiert ist, hergestellt aus einem Verbundmaterial, das eine Mehrzahl von Panzerkacheln umfasst, die in eine Polymer-Matrix eingebettet sind, die durch eine Schicht eines Faserstoffes strukturell verstärkt ist.
  2. Panzerplatte nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Peripherie eine Randkante umfasst, die zur Verwendung in überlappender Anordnung mit einer anderen Oberfläche eingerichtet ist.
  3. Panzerplatte nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die gepanzerte Aufschlagfläche konturiert ist.
  4. Panzerplatte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Panzerkacheln aus einem keramischen Material gebildet sind.
  5. Panzerplatte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der verstärkende Faserstoff gewebt ist und ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus: Aramid-Polymer, Glas, Kohlenstoff, Zellulose und Kombinationen daraus.
  6. Panzerplatte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die kontinuierliche, gepanzerte Aufschlagfläche bereitgestellt ist durch zumindest eines von: einer Schicht aneinanderstoßender Panzerkacheln, und einer Mehrzahl von Schichten von Panzerkacheln in überlappender Anordnung.
  7. Panzerplatte nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 6, wobei die periphere Randkante, die zur Verwendung in überlappender Anordnung eingerichtet ist, ein Verbundmaterial mit zwei Schichten der Panzerkacheln umfasst, wobei die Kachelschichten in überlappender, treppenstufenartiger Anordnung vorliegen, wobei eine der Kachelschichten sich in peripherer Richtung weiter nach außen erstreckt als die andere Kachelschicht und eine Einbuchtung mit einer solchen Größe und Form bildet, dass sie geeignet ist, eine zugehörige Randkante einer angrenzenden Panzerplatte aufzunehmen.
  8. Panzerplatte nach Anspruch 7, wobei die periphere Randkante, die zur Verwendung in überlappender Anordnung eingerichtet ist, gebildet ist durch: Herstellen der Panzerplatte in einer Form mit einer geeigneten Kontur, wobei die periphere Randkante ein Stufenprofil mit einem unteren und einem oberen Teilbereich aufweist, wobei der untere Teilbereich einen Faserstoff und Panzerkacheln aufweist, die in die Polymermatrix eingebettet sind, und der obere Teilbereich frei von Panzerkacheln ist und sich von dem unteren Teilbereich nach außen erstreckt; Herstellen, in einer Form, eines flachen Profilstreifens, der ausgelegt ist auf den oberen Teilbereich zu passen, wobei der flache Profilstreifen eine Mehrzahl von Panzerkacheln und einen Faserstoff aufweist, die in die Polymermatrix eingebettet sind; und Verbinden des flachen Profilstreifens obenauf dem oberen Teilbereich.
  9. Panzersystem für ein Fahrzeug oder dergleichen, umfassend: zumindest zwei Panzerplatten nach Anspruch 2, wobei zumindest ein Teil der Peripherie jeder Panzerplatte eine interne Fugenkante des Panzersystems definiert, und wobei sich jeder derartige Peripherieteil in überlappender Anordnung mit der entsprechenden internen Fugenkante einer anderen Panzerplatte befindet.
  10. Panzersystem nach Anspruch 9, wobei zumindest eine der Panzerplatten eine konturierte gepanzerte Aufschlagfläche aufweist.
