Description
Workup be obtained, for. B. as Fermentorablauf, as centrifugal, as dry matter from the spray, roll or fluidized bed drying, before or after extraction of Zellinhaltsstoffen. The microbial biomass are primarily available as aqueous suspensions of varying concentration. These suspensions (10-1 OOgBTS / 1) can be mixed directly as a formulating agent with the active ingredients. When using dry material, whose particular advantage is its simple and almost unlimited shelf life, 10-80Og of biomass (BTS) are mixed with 11 water. The addition of active ingredients or finished pesticide preparations or other admixtures takes place in different ways. An active ingredient can be mixed in solid or dissolved form with the biomass. Subsequently, the preparation of the aqueous suspension. In any case, the treatment of the seed or planting material of mixing with the aqueous suspension. The application rate is depending on the type of plant, the seed size, etc. 0.15 to ΙΟΙ / dt seed or seedlings.
Durch nachstehende Beispiele soll die Erfindung weiter erläutert werden:The use of microbial biomass as a formulation, adhesive or binder has the advantage that such biomass represents a complex of substances that has a pronounced affinity for very different active ingredients and nutrients as well as for the surface of seeds and other parts of plants. Its composition depends on the fermentation conditions and can be changed according to the requirements. Above all, the content of cell polymers is important for the use according to the invention, especially protein (20-60%), polysaccharides (10-30%), lipids (5-80%). In special cases where the biomass has its own activities, attachment without admixtures is possible. Another advantage of microbial biomass is that it is degraded by soil microorganisms and thus does not introduce additional foreign matter into the ecosystem. Their ingredients and degradation products are natural products and are more likely to support the effect of the introduced pesticides. In contrast to film-forming polymers, the microbial biomass, which consists of minute particles, is densely but raster-like attached to the seed or plant matter, which benefits the mass transfer with the environment. Biomass can, preferably in connection with fluidized bed process also find application as pilling. By the following examples, the invention will be further explained:
Die Ergebnisse sind in nachstehender Tabelle zusammengefaßt:The fungicide Falisan Universal Trockenbeize 69 is used to treat winter wheat at a rate of 200g / dt seed. The treatment of the seed is carried out such that in a pickling drum 2.5 kg with the aqueous suspension of a mixture of bacterium dry substance and Falisan Universal Trockenbeize 69 thoroughly mixed. The application rate of the suspension is 1 l / dt. 200g of fungicide are mixed with 50-40Og bacterium dry substance and made up to a volume of 11 water. The adhesiveness of the Trockenbeizpräparates and the resulting amount of dust was tested on .14 hours stored in shallow dishes seeded seed by means of model apparatus and the amount of mordant determined gravimetrically. Flowability was determined by measuring the flow rate of 2 kg of treated seed. The microbial biomass was prepared from fermentation effluent by spray drying. In 1988, a germination and field emergence test of treated maize seed was carried out. The fungicide used was Wolfen-Thiuram 85 (200 g / dt). The seed was treated as described in Example 1 with an aqueous suspension of the mixture of bacterial dry matter and fungicide. The application rate was 2 l / dt. The germination test was carried out according to TGI6779 / 02 (1973) and the field emergence test in small parcels with 4χ 100 grains. The length measurement of root and shoot was made after 7 days of germination at 20 0 C.
The results of this study are shown in the following table:
The treatment of maize seed with Inerti / d Oftanol T was carried out.
For 1 kg of seed, 4 g of Oftanol T were mixed with 150 mg of PHB-containing bacterial dry substance of Methylobacter spec., Admixed with 50 ml of dichloromethane and stirred for 1 hour. After evaporation of the solvent, the residue was suspended in 10 ml of water and the corn seed was treated therewith. The liability of the deposited funds is 92.9%. In comparison, without the addition of the bacterial dry substance only an adhesion of 70% for Oftanol T in corn is achieved.
A mixture of 30g Malipur and 20g PHB-containing bacterial dry substance of Methylobacter spec, is suspended with 100 ml of water. For the treatment of 1 kg seed of field bean 12 ml of this suspension are used. The adhesion of Malipur is then 99.7%. By dressing the broad beans with Malipur without Biomasso addition, however, only an adhesion of about 50% is achieved.
This embodiment relates to the fungicidal activity against snow mold (Fusarium nivale) on rye.
