Fungizide Mittel

B. Horsfall :"Fungicides and their action", Seite 124-127), ein wesentlich günstigeres Ergebnis zeigen.

Fungicides
The invention relates to fungicidal agents which contain, as active ingredients, the reaction products obtained in the oxidation of a mixture of alkylenebisdithiocarbamic acids or their salts with dithiocarbamic acids or their salts, and optionally fillers and solvents, adhesives, wetting agents, emulsifiers and / or dispersants.
Ethylenebisdithiocarbamic acid and dimethyldithiocarbamic acid or salts of these acids are preferably used as constituents of the mixture.
To produce the agents used as active ingredients, the dithiocarbamic acid salts obtained by reacting carbon disulfide with monoamines or the free acids are mixed with the alkylenebisdithiocarbamic acids or their salts obtained in a corresponding manner from diamonds, whereupon this mixture is oxidized. Both by selecting the starting materials used as Monobzw. Diamines as well as the amounts used thereof can change the composition of the

The reaction product obtainable according to the invention has fungicidal properties which, when compared with those of the aforementioned tetramethylthiuram disulfide, whose fungicidal properties are known and have already been described in detail (see, for example, Horsfall: "Fungicides and their action", pages 124-127), show a much more favorable result.
When fighting Fusicladium in fruit growing z. B. T. M .. T. D. gives good results; but if the interval between two sprayings is chosen too large, the fungicidal effect decreases, e.g. B. under the influence of weather conditions, quickly.
It has now been shown that under the same conditions the reaction mixture prepared according to the invention

With a dropping funnel, a solution of 91 g of ammonium persulfate in 540 cm3 of water is added dropwise using a dropping funnel. An insoluble, pale yellow colored oxidation product separates out; Yield 65g.
The fungicidal effect of the reaction product is determined by the "slide germination method of evaluating fungicides" (Phytopathology 33,627-632) with respect to the Clasterosporium fungus. It turns out that the L. D. 50 here 11/2 parts p. m. is; for T.M.T.D., an L.D. 50 of 4 parts p. m. found.
Example 2: A fungicidal preparation G is produced from the reaction product produced in Example 1 by mixing and grinding 80 parts by weight of the reaction product with 20 parts by weight of a dispersant and a wetting agent.
