Abstract
Η επίστρωση βαφής πολλαπλών χρήσεων βασίζεται σε μια εξαιρετικά πορώδη ανόργανη ουσία η οποία δημιουργείται μέσω αντίδρασης μεταξύ τουλάχιστον δύο συστατικών. Νανοσωματίδια ΤiO2 προσκολλώνται στην επιφάνεια αυτής της ουσίας. Το πρώτο συστατικό είναι μια αδιάλυτη στο νερό ένωση ασβεστίου και το δεύτερο συστατικό είναι ένα υδατοδιαλυτό θειικό άλας. Η μέθοδος εφαρμογής της βαφής πολλαπλών χρήσεων στην επιφάνεια πραγματοποιείται αρχικά με την τοποθέτηση του πρώτου συστατικού που περιέχει το υδατικό εναιώρημα της αδιάλυτης ένωσης ασβεστίου στην περιοχή εργασίας και, στη συνέχεια, ένα μείγμα νανοσωματιδίων ΤiO2 που αιωρούνται στο υδατικό διάλυμα του δεύτερου συστατικού εφαρμόζεται πάνω από την πρώτη στρώση. Ένας άλλος τρόπος είναι η εφαρμογή υδατικού εναιωρήματος του πρώτου συστατικού, το οποίο περιέχει επίσης νανοσωματίδια ΤiO2, στην επιφάνεια εργασίας και, στη συνέχεια, η εναπόθεση του υδατικού διαλύματος του δεύτερου συστατικού στη στρώση.
