Abstract

Μηχανισμός για την απορρόφηση της κινητικής ενέργειας ενός οχήματος που μετωπικά προσκρούει έναντι ενός συστήματος συγκράτησης, όπως ένας εξασθενητής πρόσκρουσης ή ακρινής μπαριέρας, μέσω της διαμήκους μετάδοσης της πλαστικής παραμόρφωσης ενός ή περισσοτέρων διαμήκως παραμορφώσιμων μεταλλικών προφίλ που παράγονται μέσω ενός άκαμπτου εμβόλου το οποίο μετατοπίζεται κατά μήκος του παραμορφώσιμου προφίλ, παρεμβαλλόμενο σε μέρος της εγκάρσιας διατομής του, συνδεδεμένο σε ένα δομικό στοιχείο του συστήματος το οποίο υποδέχεται και μεταδίδει την πρόσκρουση ενός οχήματος που μετατοπίζεται κατά μήκος του συστήματος συγκράτησης, το δε παραμορφώσιμο προφίλ είναι άμεσα ή έμμεσα στερεωμένο στο έδαφος και συνεπώς παραμένει στατικό κατά τη διάρκεια της πρόσκρουσης.
