Abstract
Η εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε μέθοδο και διάταξη για την επιτάχυνση της αποδόμησης βιογενούς οργανικής ύλης σε χώρους απόθεσης απορριμμάτων, όπου εντός ενός σωρού του χώρου απόθεσης έχει εισαχθεί τουλάχιστον ένας αγωγός ρόφησης, μέσω του οποίου αναρροφούνται τα εκλυόμενα αέρια χώρου απόθεσης. Σύμφωνα με την εφεύρεση, η ποσότητα αερίου που αναρροφάται στο χώρο του εδάφους απόθεσης θα πρέπει να είναι μεγαλύτερη από την ποσότητα αερίου που εκλύεται λόγω αποσύνθεσης σε αυτήν την περιοχή, ώστε μέσω του εξωτερικού αέρα να διεισδύει οξυγόνο στο σωρό και η διεργασία αποσύνθεσης να μετατρέπεται, σε μεγάλο βαθμό τουλάχιστον, σε αερόβια αποσύνθεση.
