Abstract

La invención se refiere a un diseño para incrementar la superficie interna de un lote de coque compacto en un recipiente receptor que incrementa la superficie interna de una masa aglutinada de coque y el coque que sale de la cámara de horno de coque mediante la fragmentación o la corrugación mecánica, mediante la cual la estructura del coque se destiende y se forman cavidades similares a huecos en el lote de coque compactado, de tal modo que en estas cavidades similares a huecos pueda penetrar una mayor cantidad de agua en el interior del lote de coque durante el proceso de enfriamiento subsecuente, lo cual resulta en una mayor eficiencia económica del método debido a la reducción del tiempo de apagado y al menor consumo de agua para apagar el coque. La invención también se refiere a un método para incrementar la superficie interna de un lote de coque compacto en un recipiente receptor que sirve para fragmentar una masa aglutinada de coque crudo o corrugar el coque parareducir el consumo de agua durante el apagado.
