Abstract

Un proceso para la eliminación de hierro férrico como hematita a partir de una solución de níquel que contiene iones férricos y ferrosos, que incluyen las etapas de: iv) elevar la temperatura de la solución de níquel hasta entre 90°C y el punto de ebullición de la solución a presión atmosférica; v) elevar el pH de la solución de níquel para que este entre 2 y 3; y vi) agregar una semilla de hematita para facilitar la precipitación de hematita; En el que los iones férricos se precipitan como hematita en una forma predominantemente cristalina.
