Abstract
La invención se refiere a métodos y reactivos para la identificación del origen deun carcinoma de origen primario desconocido (CPD) basada en la determinación delperfil de metilación en el genoma del CPD. La invención se refiere también a métodospara seleccionar una terapia adecuada para un paciente que padece un CPD así como amétodos para la medicina personalizada de pacientes que adecen un CPD basándose enel uso de un tratamiento que sea adecuado para el tumor primario del que deriva elCPD. La invención también se refiere a kits que comprenden reactivos adecuados pararealizar los métodos anteriores así como a sistemas y programas informáticos que sepueden usar para implementar los métodos de la invención.
