Abstract
La presente invención se refiere al campo de los combustibles derivados de biomasa. Se refiere además a la producción termoquímica de líquidos (bioaceites) a partir de biomasa. Específicamente, la presente invención se refiere a métodos de mejora de bioaceite. Más específicamente se refiere a un método de mejora de bioaceite que comprende poner en contacto una mezcla dispersada de líquidos de hidrocarburo, bioaceite y bioaceite parcialmente mejorado, con un catalizador que contiene metales de transición y gas hidrógeno a una temperatura de aproximadamente 330 °C y una presión de aproximadamente 11,7 MPa (1700 psi) durante un periodo de tiempo suficiente para reducir el contenido de oxígeno del bioaceite, de tal manera que se separa tras la refrigeración en una fase acuosa y una fase orgánica y, opcionalmente, someter adicionalmente la fase orgánica a hidrotratamiento, hidrocraqueo o craqueo catalítico para producir una mezcla de hidrocarburos que hierven en el intervalo de la gasolina, diésel o combustible para reactores.
